I was extremely happy with my haircut today. I was seen by the friendly and welcoming member of staff (Georgina) who was extremely friendly throughout the session. After being offered a drink, I was shortly seen to and talked through what I wanted done. Georgina was very helpful and clear throughout the session and I felt very well taken care of. It's not often I visit a Salon where I see a member of staff go above and beyond what they need to do, but this is certainly one of them.

I would highly recommend Georgina on your next visit for a relaxing and good quality haircut, delivered with a smile :)

Never been here before and im not going to lie the other place I go there was such a line I thought lets try somewhere else and I found this place far much better the man I who cut my cut it so much better than the Barbers do where I usually go, and today I paid 6 pounds more than I usually do I will definitely be coming back to this place again, and the lad who cut my hair to was pretty fit so that a plus as well

I can walk in and be made to feel welcome straight away, erin regularly cuts my hair but she rarely needs to ask what i want done, and gets it look perfect everytime! All the staff are welcoming and greet me with a smile and offer refreshments within seconds! Not one fault with CHOP! You guys are amazing! :) Thanks a lot! Aaron

I had only been to the hairdressers once in my entire life, after having an incident at 12, it put me off hairdressers for life. I decided to get my awful head of hair chopped! I chose chop as a family member had said they were brilliant..... In fact the hairstylist I had consulted me with everything, she spoke to me all the way through asking if i was feeling ok and if I wanted more cut. I finally have the haircut I wanted, I will be returning very soon!! Thank you for making me feel welcome and giving me the hairstyle I was looking for...

So I needed my hair cut and Chop was recommended to me by a friend. I found it very convenient to be able to book my appointment online. I chose a 17.45 slot on a Friday but they take appointments right upto 7.30pm!
I found a parking space on the road just around the corner from Chop and made my way in.
I was greeted with a choice of beverage, I chose a tea but they have lots to offer including beer and champagne.
I initially went in for just a cut but decided to have the full treatment, wash and cut. I chose Erik as my stylist upon recommendation who I must admit was dressed the part! very smart.
He made me feel welcome and did a perfect job styling my hair.
All in all really pleased and worth the money.

I have thick, straight hair that quickly becomes unmanageable if not properly cut. Tony is worth the creative director price tag and since moving away from Bristol (for work) have reluctantly tried my luck elsewhere with sub-par results. I now have an excuse for monthly-ish Bristol visits for the foreseeable future.

TL;DR Choose Chop

Perfect wash and trim with Erin! The only hairdresser in Bristol who knows what 'straight' means. Friendly staff with neat cuts, mellow atmosphere,convenient appointments, beverage offer,reasonable prices comparable to other central salons, what more could one wish for?

I've been getting my hair cut at CHOP for something like 2 years now, and I won't go anywhere else. I have no need to be fussy about who cuts my hair as each stylist does a great job. They make an effort for interesting conversations, are always polite and cheerful, and the free drink is a very nice addition.

Would definitely recommend to anybody.

I was hesitant about my haircut and was not sure what I really wanted but settled for something I've never tried before. Hairdresser finished the look and I thought it could be better, told the hairdresser and despite having to re-do the haircut he did it for me. It was a good haircut and pretty satisfactory. Something new for me though!

What an experience I booked my hair up to get somethink different ,colour ,cut new stylist .OMG what this girl good , 5 hours of being pampered tea,beer what ever you wanted to drink bacon sandwich next door . I've been to many hairdressers in the past but was never satisfied enough to keep going back due to finding a few uncut hairs and poor service. Not anymore!

I've finally found a hairdresser I like where I get a consistently good hair cut, never get hairs down my neck scratching all day, free drink on arrival and good chat with Tony.

I've been going there now for 5 years.

I walked in quite late in the evening, and was seen to instantly, I was offered a cold beveage and had a good chat with the barber. The hair cut was good at a very good price
