"I recently visited Hobs Salon to get my roots highlighted and toned. I had a specific request for an ashy colour tone, explaining that my hair was brassy and I wanted to tone it down. Unfortunately, the hairdresser dyed my roots jet black, completely deviating from what I asked for. Despite expressing my concerns, she tried to convince me that the color was nice and not brassy.
The next day, the owner did my haircut, which I was actually happy with. However, I raised my concerns about the colour issue to her as well. She brought in a senior consultant who took a sample of my hair and mentioned that achieving the ashy colour might be challenging due to my hair being bleached which might damage the hair. I also mentioned I've had ashy tones many times in my hair recently in April. She assured me that she would get back to me, but unfortunately, I never received any further communication.
This left me feeling unsatisfied as a paying customer. While the haircut itself was fine, the main reason for my visit was the colour treatment, which did not meet my expectations. The lack of follow-up or resolution is disheartening, and I don't feel like a valued client.
I hope that Hobs Salon takes feedback like mine seriously to improve their customer service and communication. As for now, I can't help but feel that my money was wasted, and I left the salon as an unhappy client .

Excellent as always. Shame I need to reconsider options as she is now moving to Amersham so I have had to change stylist twice in the last 4 months.
Had a lovely experience with getting my hair done. When making the booking I triple checked the cost of everything and I was told a price. Once done I went to pay, only to be told more. There were add on prices which weren’t explained to me previous. This really upset me as I felt they were trying to get more money out of me. I had to pay for toner!!!!! On the price list on price and charging me another price!!! Is this a new way of making extra money?????
It’s happened before but I thought maybe it was me but unfortunately this is how they work. It’s really not acceptable.
Even dough the service is good, this lets HOBS done.
Please stop doing this, it’s unfair to your customers.
