The Cutting Studio

Haven't been to The Cutting Studio for some time now but when I heard that Alex was back I booked an appointment straight away. The cut is great - no one else has ever seemed to get to grips with my semi curly/frizzy hair in the same way and the salon looks great. I'll be back!

Nice décor, with added treat of massage chairs in hair wash area.
Reasonably priced.
Would highly recommend.

Rang Cutting studio at 9 am and they fitted me in tha same day for half head of highlights. Very welcoming. Daniella is very friendly and professional. She talked me through mytreatment and made some suggestions on how she'd colour my hair . She pointed out where the washroom was, and just to ask if I wanted more magazines or more refreshments

I was a bit nervous about trying a new style, but the lovely guy Alex who was cutting my hair gave some really good input, and I feel it looks great now. My hair was in terrible condition but is now healthy, soft and shiny thanks to the products he used. Alex was not only a great hairdresser but a lovely guy! Deffo recommend.

Very welcoming staff, clean warm friendly environment. I got to sit in the massage chair while having my hair washed which was lovely. Alex knew exactley what I wanted. I left the salon very happy and would highly recommend this place.

Danni did a fantastic job with my restyle, and all my friends loved it! One friend even wants to get the same style done! I arrived very early for my appointment , but I was very well looked after by staff with drinks, magazines and a comfortable chair. Thank you! Sadia x

I had my first hair appointment at the Cutting Studio last weekend. I have naturally blond hair and had it completely ruined! I've ended up with ginger roots and a slight green tinge to the rest of my hair. The guy doing my hair seemed very inexperienced and I will never return to the salon. I waisted 4 hours there and paid £100 for hair I'm totally unhappy with. I'm now having to get it sorted elsewhere. I would have given it 0 for quality if it had let me.

Excellent, no waiting around. I was called an hour before to tell me Alex was running late which was great. The hair wash/ head massage was very relaxing along with the massage chair. However it does put your neck in a rather uncomfortable position. Cut was great. I will be back.

Really enjoyed my return visit to The Cutting Studio. Greeted with a very friendly welcome back and really looked after for my whole appointment. Most of all so pleased with my hair. Will look forward to my next appointment.

I absolutely LOVE this salon. I have curly unruly hair that is usually quite difficult to cut - I have probably been to every single hairdressers in London and Bucks and yet I really have never been happy with my haircut. It either looks thick and bushy, or frizzy. My hair has been the bane of my life until I was recommended The Cutting Studio. They mended some terrible haircuts and for the last year I have been visiting them regularly. I haven't had a bad hair cut yet and the frizzyness and bushy look has gone for ever. Please don't both going to West End salon that charge a fortune - you get a better cut and finish at The Cutting Studio. I can't rate it highly enough.

Fab salon. Love the back massager and foot rest while having my hair washed and head massaged. Feel totally pampered and relaxed. Such a nice bunch of people. Well worth a visit.

The girls and guys are all lovely at the Cutting Studio. I'm always happy with how they colour and cut my hair :). They listen to what I want done with my hair n they don't get 'scissor happy'. Everyone is always friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this salon to friends and family.

I had my hair cut today with the legend that is Leanne. And what a task I set her. I walked in with almost shoulder length, split ended hair and wanted something fresh, summery and short. She totally exceeded expectations - I genuinely couldn't be happier. Great service, lots of technical info passed on about styling and a top job hair cut. Highly recommended!

I've been coming to the cutting studio for around 10 years, and had 4 stylists on and off as they have gone off to have children. There's a great atmosphere in the salon, and everyone is really friendly. I'll never use another salon, always been so happy how they have some with my hair and the level of consultation that is given as part of your appointment. On the occasion that I have made a bad decision about what I wanted and not liked the style - they have always been more than helpful to cut or colour again so that I am 100% happy! Love it here!!

I have been a faithful client for many years, so much so I can't find a better salon (and I now drive up from Surrey to have my hair done). John & Alex were their amazing usual selves (Pleased to have Alex back at the Salon after two years!) but faultless service and attention to detail, definitely would recommend!

I had never had my hair coloured at a salon before but I had an initial consultation with Claire and then Kirsty did my highlights. I am really pleased with the cut and colour. The service was second to none and I would recommend the Cutting Studio.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Jade has been doing my hair and my family's hair now for nearly 3 years., I couldn't ask for a nicer Hairdresser, she is always so welcoming and bubbly and has always been there to listen to my moans and groans, however boring they must sound!!! She also has to put up with my mother which is an achievement in itself!!! Jade is a great hairdresser and a great listener! x

I haven't visited the Cutting Studio for a while, so was looking forward to whole experience and I wasn't disappointed! The staff were very welcoming,. Kirsty, the stylist understood my requests and her profiency was obvious in the end result, a perfect cut, colour and blow-dry. And I hav'nt even mentioned the massage chair, while I had my hair washed (including a scalp massage)! A complete treat all round!

Had my hair cut with Laura today. Wanted some guidence as to what to do as felt hair was in bad condition at the ends and wasn't sure whether to have layers put in etc or how much realistically was needed to be cut off to give it a better condition without losing to much off the length. She said she couldn't really advise me as 'dosnt know my hair' and basically asked what I wanted her to do?! Although yes, she hasn't cut my hair before , I wanted a bit more help and guidence as to what she would suggest as the stylist. Paid £55 and you wouldn't notice my hair had been cut. Slightly disappointed I'm afraid.

Lovely to see the staff so happy...it cheered me up mo end. My hair was cut today by a more senior stylist and it was a real professional service. I will ask for her next time eventhough it was a bit more pricey.

It was a very relaxing experience at the cutting studio. I came away very pleased with my hair cut. I definitely recommend this hair salon.

Every time I go to the cutting studio I come out with fab hair! The crew are all very friendly and all the stylists I've had have all done a terrific job.
