TONI&GUY, Cambridge opened in March 1993 by Managing Director Lee Gorton and has since won numerous awards including 'Director Of The Year 2009' at the TONI&GUY Business Awards. The success of the salon is the result of a hugely talented and dynamic team who are trained in the latest cutting and colouring techniques, at the Toni&Guy Academy, London. The team showcase their work at key events including London Fashion Week.

I have for sometime had a picture of a hair style I liked and previous stylist not at the branch have suggested other cuts. When I spoke to Myesha she said straight away let’s do it to my delight. The new style was cut with a razor and showed great skill and knowledge to deliver the cut I wanted. Myesha told how to care for my hair using different products and suggested that I have some colour in my hair to enhance the style. I left the salon feeling wonderful ?

Olivia is brilliant at making my colour look great. On my first appointment with her in July she rescued me from dull brown hair with some grey creeping in. Now, no more grey sneaking up on me and really vibrant colour. Love it.

I saw Laura with an idea of a short style that I wanted which was drastically different to my current long hair. After a long discussion, Laura convinced me that this wasn’t for me as it was too drastic and wouldn’t work with my type of hair. Reluctantly I agreed with her and after the end result I can see that she was right and I am very happy with the style that she suggested.

From the time I arrived at the salon, I was looked after and made to feel special. The young lady who shampooed my hair was wonderful, and the whole procedure was so relaxing. Beth was amazing and I had taken a couple of pictures with me of what I had in mind - she was very happy to discuss these with me, and talked me through what she thought would be the best style for me. Clare always does a great job on the cut and blow dry. So too normally does the person who does my colour, but maybe it was an off day because I ended up with a lot of dye on my forehead (which was only spread further by the person who washed my hair and proceeded to get water down my back), and the colour is a little more uneven than her usual high standards. I appreciate that when dealing with roots some dye and subsequent makeup removal are inevitable but not half my foreheads’ worth! It was just a less than enjoyable experience for the price point this time.
