Soul Hair Chester

Chemically damaged my hair with a perm, and it now has a horrible mixture of wavy and straight sections ?

**** (the manager) didn't acknowledge the actual chemical damage nor has she apologised ONCE. She ignored me and talked over me over the phone when I was trying to talk to her.

A dreadful experience, and I'm now left with this hair for around a year until it grows long enough to cut off the permed bit (I can't have it repermed due to the chemical damage)

My hair is afro curly so I was a bit nervous with the idea of going to a Caucasian salón but I was bluffed! Toby knew exactly what he was doing and he was very professional. The quality of the treatment was spotted! I cannot wait to bring my curly hair daughter for a nice treatment. The only mention I will add when booking is that a blow dryo and ironing for afro curly hair will not take 1h but probably 1h30, just for the next client appointment to be taken into account to avoid rushing :)

1st visit v impressed with the colour. Nice cut too. Overall v satisfied will go back.

Just had my hair cut by the wonderful James at Soul Hair. As always I leave the salon with the most amazing hair. James is the best hairdresser ever!!! Not only is he a genius with the scissors, he's also the kindest, most loveliest person you could ever wish to meet. Everyone at Soul Hair is friendly, extremely professional and so welcoming.

Very excited to be having a cut and colour here next week. Daniel and Jade seem so knowledgeable and know exactly what I need. Can't wait!

Love, love, love having my haircut with Dan at Soul Hair - the team is super friendly and welcoming. Dan is great at listening to what I need from my hair and his skills with my curly hair are awesome - his cuts always look amazing and the overall experience is always brilliant!! My curly hair is something I’m very careful with -Dan is a specialist and thankfully I felt very confident he was the right person to come to. The cut was great and he listened to how I usually dry my hair and replicated this so I was happy with the end result.

Came back after 2 Covid years and was greeted warmly and treated kindly and I had a great haircut . I was pleased to see staff and customers wearing masks . I’ll be back before 2024!! Thanks Tobie.

Lovely head message followed by a nice hot drink. Hair was cut & styled by James. James listens to what you want and talks you through what he is going to do. Giving you the opportunity to talk through any concerns. Always gives me a great cut. A genuine lovely man who will put you at ease. You know you have a good cut when it falls into place.

Impressed with layout of salon. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. My Stylist Tobie was extremely good at advising what style would be best for me and I wasn’t disappointed with the final result.

It’s not easy to relax these days when out and about and visiting places such as salons where others are in and out, too. However I felt totally relaxed, especially after Emma gave me a wonderful head massage. I also love my short style cut and styled by Emma. Oh and thankyou for the lovely cup of hot water with lemon! Just what I needed

I had an appointment with Emma yesterday, can’t really complain as I liked her and the cut is great. The only thing I was really surprised about was that she didn’t ask or put any styling products on my hair prior to drying it which I would have expected being an Aveda salon?!

This was my first visit and certainly won’t be my last. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive; totally pampered - a hand massage whilst having my treatment - fabulous. Thank you James & Connor - loving the haircut and colour. I would definitely recommend this hair salon.

James was amazing, able to take my ideas and run with them!

I’m a stress head about having my hair cut but Dan listened to what I want and didn’t over it my hair. My hair is thick and curly and I’ve had as many bad cuts as good ones, this was one of the best.
The head massage isn’t usually my thing as I’m so stressed but this was very relaxing as was the hand massage.
Overall worth the money and I will be back again!

As always my experience at Soul Hair Chester was wonderful. I always get compliments from my friends and family on the natural looking and lovely colour thatJade skilfully conjures up. Dan has gently nurtured and encouraged my hair into an amazing full head of wavy hair. His styling today was magical as always! He is a true creative, with real ability to combine cutting and styling with a thorough understanding of colouring hair. . I went home delighted.
