I was not happy with my root colour. Whilst the hairdresser asked what she could do and did not want to accept payment because I was unhappy, I felt I was in a very public arena and I felt embarrassed. She said "I'm not lying" which meant I was not able to state my position. My hair root colour is very dark and this was the colour used two appointments ago when I cried, because I was so upset that my hair looked dark. She argued it was the same colour. Absolutely no way I could disagree with that. I'm really unhappy and my partner agrees that my roots are much darker than last time. I feel disempowered and embarrassed.
