Disappointing result

As a first time customer I was impressed by the look and atmosphere of the salon. My stylist was very friendly and chatty and we discussed what I wanted with pictures before starting. I cannot fault her on the colour, it was the exact shade I wanted, but I've been left with a short full fringe that was not what I wanted at all. I think she knew she had cut it too short, as she fiddled with it for several minutes and tried to reassure me over and over that it was just 'bouncing up'. Unfortunately, after coming home and washing it the same day, this wasn't the case.
When it came to paying for my cut, I presented a voucher and was under the impression that the colour was also at a discounted cost. This was not the case - which was fine - but I felt the receptionist got very defensive with me about it. Considering I wasn't happy with the cut anyway, I now felt I couldn't say anything and just wanted out of the salon as soon as possible.
What started as a positive experience ended on a disappointing one. As I said, the girl who cut my hair was lovely, but I won't be back.
