Everytime I take the first morning appointment the stylist is never on time, I’m always welcomed by the assistant and reassured the stylist won’t be long and offered refreshments which I’m grateful for, but you’d think the stylist would be earlier regarding I’m the first cilent of the day. Apart from that great service thanks again, the above comment is a heads up as I know other cilents won’t stand for this

For years, i travel from York to Egg for my cut and colour and it’s always worth it. Craig is a colour magician and once again a top class result!! Been going to Craig for over 15 years and can truly say never been unhappy with my hair. I’ve gone in with photos, as you do ????, and love the fact that he is totally honest and if it’s not for you he won’t just go and do it but discusses why not good. Fab salon!

Got my colour done with Melissa it’s nice, but to top it off my blow dry done my jodie was just so straight and sleek all with the hair dryer I just love it! I’m impressed! it’s a miracle my hair isn’t frizzy anymore that WOW product is just WOW!!!!

My daughter had refused to brush her hair for weeks. JODIE spent 45 mins combing her hair before Melissa could cut it. Not one ouch heard. Thank you for being gentle and patient. J x

Atended again for another straightening treatment from Craig and, as always, the whole experience was faultless. After trying a few other salons and all of them a bad experience, I was on the verge of going back curly until I found Craig! He is very knowledgeable with great advice about what I needed. Very patient and understanding, and I always feel at home here!

Showed the stylist a photo of the hair I wanted. It was relatively simple. Unfortunately my hair turned out completely different and looked very dated and not stylish. Had to do it again myself at home.

Melissa was fab she really listened to what I wanted and I am very pleased with the result.

First time at Egg and glad I went, Donna was great! Gave me sound advice on my hair colour. For years I have dyed it myself and now it's a colour far too dark for me and permanent! Have arranged another appointment for hair colour. Donna's experience was very apparent when discussing my hair and I'm looking forward to a hair colour that I like and that suits me.

After several bad experiences over the year I was nervous about getting my hair cut. I decided to give EGG Hairdressing a try after a recommendation from a family member and I was not disappointed. My stylist really took the time to listen to what I wanted and seemed to understand my vision, wow my shampoo was impressive couldn’t fault anything plus the girl was lovely & very welcoming made me feel at ease (ps the head massage is worth leaving a tip) everyone was chatty and friendly but didn’t force the conversation as some do. All the products that were used during my visit were explained to me with reasons as to why they had been chosen, I even walked away with a purchase! I absolutely love my new style and I’m already excited to go back. Thank you so much EGG

I managed to secure a short notice appointment on a Sunday!!!! Why most salons in Edinburgh don't have the same idea is beyond me.

The staff were amazing, the quality of the service was amazing. Found my people! ?

I’m happy with my colour, however not so with the cut. Also, the assistant who’s washed my hair wasn’t gentle at all. She pulled my hair while washing and it wasn’t done properly. I had to wash it again when I got home. A bit disappointed.

As always have walked out of the salon looking fab thanks to Gayle. Loving the colours that Gayle suggested.

I have had my hair cut by Craig for the last 15 years and he has always done an amazing job. Although I m now leaving to live in the north of Scotland I intend to travel back every six weeks or so as I can t imagine getting it cut and styled by anybody else xx
