Been going to this salon for years and always get a great haircut no matter which stylist does it. Marco changed up my style a bit today and I love it, thank you so much.

Always a great experience for a cut, had a colour today for the first time and have come away with the most beautiful champagne blonde!

The salon is a lovely, light and welcoming place. I am always nervous when walking into a salon, as they can be intimidating places, but Paul and the other stylists and staff were so nice and made me feel instantly at ease. Paul spent time at the start to discuss my cut, and to get to know my hair and how I usually style it. The resulting haircut and style is honestly the best I have ever had! Paul, though the salon was busy, made me feel as though giving me the best haircut possible was his single most priority and took the time to get it perfect. I have thick hair, which takes time to blow dry and can often frustrate stylists, but not Paul - I never felt rushed or that the finer details/finishing touches were being sacrificed in order to save time. I can't recommend Paul enough!!

As always I was taken care off like a Queen, amazing service, in a safe, hygiene environment, fantastic attention from MacKenzie & Paul, brilliant cut& absolutely stunning colour, so, so pleased with the result, I can’t recommend Paul & the Saloon enough, superb on every level.

Asked for a bouncy blow dry and got what I could of done myself and was flat within half an hour

I was visiting Edinburg for a few days and passed by the Medusa salon. Decided to refresh my look and was very happy with my decision. Marco is really friendly and experienced hairstylist if I visit Edinburgh again I’ll definitely come back to restyle my look !!

I wrecked my hair end of last year by doing the half black half blonde thint after having copper ginger hair for best part of ten years, on my journey to get it back to its greatness hahaha paul did a little experiment today with it and it looks great! Im so pleased! Got a good chop as well from another gentleman but i cant remember his name (sorry) and i love my cut too! Been brought back to life! Thanks guys!!

Very, very nice people but unfortunately I wasn’t assertive enough with what I wanted and I’m not sure we were on the same page. All it needed was a bend in the top and a bit more off the back and we’d have been there. As it is I feel like Woody from the Bay City Rollers. I’d go again, but I’d be much clearer next time. My fault, not theirs.

Paul always makes you feel really welcome, such a great guy to talk to you almost forget your getting your haircut he's always got some interesting story or piece of information that's really useful for your life as a man who seems genuinley interested in people that's a fantastic quality of a hairstylist and at the end i always get a really amazing cut. The thing about Pauls haircuts is they are so good i could literally keep the same haircut for months if i wanted to grow it out and still look cool. I'm losing my hairline at the front but Paul always cuts my hair in a way that maximises the hair i have left so i still keep some youthful looks. Great guy, great haircuts and the new salon decor is looking fresh !!

I visited the salon last Thursday and this was my first time at Medusa and I couldn't be more happy! Marco was amazing and he did an incredible job on my hair ; I also loved the wee dog ..so sweet ? the atmosphere in the salon is very nice , you feel so relaxed !

My first ever time dying my hair and Paul was amazing at talking me through everything and did such a great job that I couldn’t be happier with the colour! It’s a great atmosphere and everyone was helping each other and thanks to Marco for the good head massage when he was putting on the toner!

Listened to what I was looking for and the result was exactly what I wanted! The dogs made the salon also!

Paul discussed how he planned to style my hair when I arrived and explained what he was doing as he went along. Cut looks good at the moment. The big test will come when I have to wash and blow dry it myself!

I’ve been getting my hair done with Marco for a while now, and everytime he amazes me. He knows what I want and he does a perfect job. He never disappoints and makes me feeling happy!!
