I maged to get a last-minute appointment with Sonia, who is lovely. She sat me down and had a consultant about my hair and what I wanted done. I got about 5inches off and it shaped better, I was really nervous after a previous bad hair cut but Sonia made me feel at ease and the end result was great. My hair looks and feels so much better. Thank you! X

Kerry is not just very skilled, but also extremely nice, her bubbly personality means the time I spend at the salon is also relaxing. Kerry manages to tame my mane in a spotless, bright and welcoming environment - highly recommended!

I always love getting my hair cut with Kerry. She suggests styles that suit you and encourages you to be brave if you're looking for something new. There's always great chat and it's extra fun going when you get puppy cuddles with rolo :-).
As always Kerry did a fantastic job of my hair. Before I stumbled upon The salon two years ago just as it wasn’t opening I never regularly attended the hairdresser or returned to the same one but going to McLaren Ross I realised a) it was ridiculous not to invest In my hair by regularly attending somewhere good and b) this was somewhere that was going to cut MY hair not just cut a hairstyle. Kerry has adapted all my sessions to nurture My hair back to health and has always talked me through why we are doing things and I trust her implicitly with my hair. My mum comes whenever she’s in Edinburgh and refuses to go at home! Love them and couldn’t recommend enough
