Travelled from Ayr to get my hair cut and boy was it worth it

Always do a good job

I had my first hair appointment at Medusa in Bread Street. Staff were very welcoming and smiley. They looked after me offering refreshments at various points, which was nice. Jenni’s approach was very professional and friendly; she went through different options and offered expert advice. I felt listened to. Chloe washed my hair gently and gave me a relaxing head massage, which I really enjoyed. I’m very happy with the result and I’m definitely coming back for a second appointment with Jenni (and the free samples of Wella shampoo and hair treatment have nothing to do with it... shhhhh). Thank you again, Medusa Team! :-)

Jenni is wonderful, first hairdresser I have trusted with my crazy curly hair!

From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, I was very well looked after. Being offered a beverage and getting a head massage before getting my hair cut and styled by Kirsty was great. Kirsty is absolutely brilliant and always listens to exactly what you want, as well as giving great advice and recommending genuinely helpful products.

I went in for a cut and blow dry and I left with one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I generally dislike going to the hairdresser as my hair is very damaged and grows very slowly. If the haircut is not great, it will take months to grow back into something decent. That is why I am always very worried and want to discuss the haircut with the hairdresser before they start. Most salons don't take time to listen to your requests and give you solid advice, but Ashley listened to my concerns and was very cooperative. She offered to cut the hair to a certain length first and to assess from there if I wanted to chop off more. She was great and my hair is now super healthy and looked wonderful after her natural curls blow dry.

Ashley did a lovely job with my hair as usual, pleased with my cut+blow dry, Ashley always helpful going over what I want+I would always listen to her expert advice. Pleasant visit.

Hair cut from Kirsty at Bread St. She is always great, listens to what I want and makes suggestions based on my hair type. Very knowledgable about products. Head massage was an added bonus!! Would definitely recommend.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and I can trust the stylists to understand what I'm looking for. Trainees just started and seemed cheery and enthusiastic, all the best to them :) Just wish I knew how to get my hair looking as good at home... Thank you!

Quality haircut good service

I've been getting my hair cut by Jenni now for four years, she is a fantastic hairdresser who is always patient, responsive and has a plan about how we are moving forward with my hair and colour. More than that she is one of the kindest, funniest, brightest people. The atmosphere in the salon is pleasant and welcoming, and it comes across that Colin cares about his customers, staff and business.

Thank you Sarah for a brand new look for me. I had long curly hair and was skeptical as to how a different hair style would look on me.
Sarah listened to all my concerns carefully and gave me a fantastic hair cut and I love it !

I got a Balayage cut and colour with Olaplex treatment today by Ashley and I love the results. I was previously more or less fully blonde with Balayage but got it dyed back to my natural brown to try and repair it and I've hated being back brown. My hair over time has got shorter and thinner as well as being extremely dry and grassy. I've hated it so much so that most days I'd just pull it up in a messy bun so I don't have to deal with it. Ashley spent a long time and paid attention to detail with my hair and it clearly shows with the end result. My hair feels and looks so much for healthy and the colour has blended so well. She, as well as the rest of the girls in the salon, were friendly and attentive. Ashley done an amazing job and I can't wait to go back and get her to get me back to full blonde again!

I've been getting my hair coloured by Kirsty (Medusa Bread Street) for just over a year now. CAN NOT FAULT HER! Flawless service and she is amazing at what she does! I wouldn't even dream of having anyone else colour my hair! I have extremely long hair and very dark but Kirsty transforms it to a beautiful ash blonde everytime leaving it softer and better condition than I walked in with!! The whole team at Bread street is absolutely lovely and always go an extra mile to make you feel special and taken care of when I pop in! Highly recommend this salon and Kirsty is just FAB! Looking forward to my next trip already haha!

I had an appointment to colour (save) my hair with Colin who was fantastic from start to finish. He talked me through the hair colour and effect I wanted. The olaplex treatment was fab too. My hair hasn't looked and felt this good in years!! ???

I've only had "brows and lashes" treatment at Medusa, with Iram- the first time as a 'luxury treat', but thereafter regularly because everything about my visit was positive. Iram is wonderfully charming and warm and with her beauty skills, intelligence and natural friendliness makes each treatment a special experience.
