Been going to the salon since I moved to Edinburgh in 2014 from Newcastle after a recommendation. Best hair cut going from Newcastle - Edinburgh. Multi award winning, listen and cut to what you want not what they think. Great atmosphere, top music, trendy salon, even the owner has decent banta. Pay for what you get!!!

I've been going to Medusa for a number of years now as I cannot fault the service! The staff are really polite and go out of there way to make sure you receive a great service and my hairdresser Marnie is just brilliant, suggesting new styles and colour!

As always Kirsty came up with the goods . There is nothing she doesn't know about hair colouring and my cut was perfect . Would highly recommend .

I've been seeing Jo for three years now and she never disappoints. She has seen me through bob to pixie cut to long and fringed! Always a great atmosphere in the salon too, friendly and welcoming.

I'm always well-looked-after, and when I'm in the mood for a change staff are happy to experiment, make suggestions, and discuss ideas. Over the, hmm, *years*, I've had big hair, short hair, plain hair, leopard hair, bleached hair, coloured hair: Colin and co. have always made it look good. They've made minor improvements after the fact, fitted me in on the odd emergency (ahem, well, insofar as you can have one of those with hair) and the several friends I've directed their way have all come away happy too.

Price sometimes raises eyebrows but considering the (huge) amount of one-on-one interested, professional, attention — and the number of comments afterward — I certainly wouldn't call it unfair.

Got a last minute booking near my workplace and got a fandabulous haircut and style with Kirsty. Went from flustered to fashionista in an hour. Really relaxed environment and more than I would normally pay... however totally worth every penny ... you gotta treat yourself now n again. Kirsty cut my hair just like I like it. Sharp but messy. Smart n casual. Loved it n definitely visiting again. Fandabulous

I love going to medusa for my hair appointment. You are always welcomed with a warm smile (and a glass of wine on a Thursday evening!) Kirsty is an absolute star of a hairdresser and I always leave loving my hair. Kirsty always knows just the right things to do to my hair so I leave feeling like a superstar every time! I have also had my hair put up from another girl (can't remember her name unfortunately) and it was amazing! If you haven't been to medusa before I would highly recommend it they are wonderful and you will leave happy.

Lorraine has done a fantastic job as always. I highly recommend her, she is great at her job and really lovely person.

I don't have the easiest hair to style but Jo and Marnie at Medusa cut it so well that I feel good every time I visit.

I've been coming to see Kate for over a year now and I absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else. Great with colour, great with helping me achieve the look I want, and amazing at really working with me to make sure I'm satisfied. The staff at Bread St. are all very friendly and helpful, the salon is large, open, and bright, and they make the best hot chocolate!

As I said, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I love going to Medusa because Jenny is a fantastic stylist and a generally lovely person. She always makes me feel great, understands me and my hair, and sends me out feeling several years younger! What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

I love going to my hairdressers from the moment I step in the door to the moment I leave I am made to feel welcome and it has been like that since day one 16 years ago. I mentioned to my hairdresser I thought my colour was too light-he explained in depth what he could do and I felt comfortable for that to happen. ALL the staff are polite and nothing is too much bother xx

I'm a longstanding client of Medusa (Ryan, fabbie at sharp cutting and long-lasting colour). I'm stopped almost every day by strangers admiring my hair - that's what I want, I want people to know that my hair is not to be hidden, it empowers me, it's part of my personality.

Teenage daughter just had a lovely grown up experience at Medusa. Had her first hair mask and felt very pampered and pretty when she left with her beautiful bouncing, full curls. Thank you Jo.
