I took a picture on my 'phone to show Gary. I wanted my long hair cut short and permed. He did a brilliant cut and spent a lot of time on getting the effect just right. I'm really, really pleased with the result! The staff are all extremely helpful. I have been going to Gary for years and no matter what notions I come up with, he always gives good advice and I get great results.

My recent experience in Gthair was very positive. Not only did owner and stylist Gary cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it but he gave me a style that has been admired BT a number of different people. there is obviously a reason why his salon has won so many awards.

I love this salon, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Gary is a brilliant stylist, a real perfectionist and I have never had a bad cut or colour. He is the only stylist that I have ever used that can style naturally curly hair beautifully. And now that I have gone straight, he is brilliant with straight hair also. There's always a great atmosphere and Linda, Kirsty and Debbie are all really lovely and make you feel so welcome. Thanks, Caroline Kelly.

Kirsty never fails. I give her 3 pics of different hairstyles and she creates a unique look which blends a little bit of all three. This girl is fab and just 'gets me'. I don't let anyone else near my hair anymore, she's a star!

As usual excellent service, all the staff are friendly and helpful, they all get on with each other with their banter which is lovely to see. They make you feel comfortable and relax straight away.

Have been a client of Gary Thomson for 30years and it has always been a very good experience. His skills are well know and his staff are friendly & professional

My stylist Debbie, always cuts my hair lovely. She is a joy to deal with and always gives me great advice for my hair.
No matter how bad my hair looks when I arrive, (mostly after a run), Debbie always cuts my hair lovely and makes me feel great.
Linda at reception is also lovely and always offers a lovely coffee.

Always walk of Garys salon feeling a million dollars.People comment on my hair every time.

I have a lot of red in my hair but Kirsty always manages to get my hair the perfect shade of ash blonde I like, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great experience, 5 star

My hair was cut by the lovely debbie. She always listens to my ideas, and looks at the photos I bring of coveted hairstyles. Many of my previous hairdressers have looked like they were listening but debbie actually does! She is friendly without being over the top and she always does a great job. I highly recommend her and the salon generally.

In the two years that I having been coming to this salon, I have had wonderful service and hair care. The atmosphere is friendly and jovial and the expertise of the staff second to none.....and I have been to many over the years!

Gary did a wonderful job of colouring and styling my hair, I'm most impressed.

My second visit and I'm hooked. He is most certainly a miracle worker. I told him I wanted a 'new look' and he gave it very careful thought before coming up with, what seemed to me at first, a very strange colour suggestion - bright orange highlights. However when he was finished the result was the most gorgeous flash of subtle gold in among a beautiful soft brown. I could not be more delighted.
I highly recommend his salon and will definitely be back. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and gave great service. I also adored the background music, fabulous DJ mixes. Thoroughly enjoyed my whole visit.

Finally a hairdresser who listens to what you want and carries it through.

My hairdresser Debbie cut my hair beautifully. Debbie is always excellent at cutting and blow drying my hair. She remembers always, anything you have discussed previously about your hair. She always s takes pride in giving you a great haircut. So pleasant & cheerful. Linda on reception is also lovely and like Debbie, really kind and pleasant. I always enjoy getting my haircut here.

After I've booked a flight home, the next thing I do is book a hair appointment at GT hair - the service (and Glasgow water ????) is top notch. Always arrive with hair that needs some TLC and GT hair works there magic so I can see family and friends and the odd meeting looking amazing (also lasts ages) !
