My appointment was with Ineta, but when I tuned up at the Salon, the lady at the desk said Ineta had family emergency and couldn’t make it. This was understandable. But to my wonder why I was not informed, she, unapologetically, said because they wanted everyone to come and not to cancel any. That is very wrong. I wanted my hair done by the person I booked with. I had the right to be contacted, informed and given the option of cancellation or going for another stylist. I had my asthma triggered on the day but made my journey there because did not want to miss it. So at that moment I agreed to go with another stylist. Lucie was lovely but I her cut did not satisfy me as much as Ineta’s.
On the different matter, it is my right again to be informed of the difference in the price. I had booked to pay £44 with Ineta, and was not my choice to change her. I was passed to Lucie who charged me £10 extra at the end. I expected to be charged at least the same as I had booked for. There was no apology, no compensation for the bad service. Due to my asthma and that I had lost my voice up to point and the noisy background, I could not talk and complain there but I was shocked. I had a higher expectations. I had been very happy with Ineta and the service in my previous visits but not this time. I found it unprofessional.
