A HUGE thank you to Dee for his immense skill & expertise, along with care, courtesy & (rare!) ability to really listen to a customer’s wishes & aims with hair. Following treatment for potential cancer, then lockdown isolation for an eternity, then recently moving to Derbyshire, I braved an unknown hairdresser near to T&G for a simple layered cut. Big mistake. When I got home, I washed out the thickly plastered on products to find that my fine, straight hair had been gnawed at & hacked at, for the price of 1/2 a months salary. Back went the scrunchie & down went my confidence. I searched through the reviews for trusted hairstylists in Derby and found Dee, in T&G Derby, who had a larger than average amount of happy reviews. Best choice I made in years. Absolutely faultless, professional manner, intelligent, extremely knowledgable as to hair types & suitability of styles. Well, we both gasped as Dee carefully up the grossly uneven left/right sides of my hair, the cruelly hacked off lumps, the whole, sadly ridiculous, attempt at ‘styling’ that the other ‘stylist’ had done. Dee was so reassuring and logical about how he could resolve the damage that it lightened my mood & I was able to laugh at the whole situation. I came out, smiling, happy, reassured &
