Bishop Auckland College

1.8

The tutor promised a Toni and Guy cutting programme among other things and really sold the course, so I signed up. She was more interested in getting the files up to date than teaching. Everyone on the course stopped coming as often because it was a waste of time and we weren't taught anything. Throughout the course, I was taught the grand total of two things. How to meet your clippers with a comb to get a neater line and also how to prepare the face for a shave. If you asked how to do something, she ignored your question and made you muddle through by yourself. The tutor had quite a few weeks off due to a bereavement and there was no replacement so we missed weeks too. At the end of the course I felt just as I'll prepared for a barbering job as I did at the beginning and at the cost of a £3300 student loan. Myself and the other girls and guys were totally gutted at how poor this course was.
