My family have been with Abbie for years, since she started out on her own and actually since she was at the salon she left to start on her own! No one else understands my sons curls and waves or double crown like Abbie does. A perfect cut and style today, like everytime

Being able to trust the people who cut your hair is a must for the majority of us and allowing a person to just do it without really needing to explain what you want comes from years of haircuts by the same person. Thank you Abbie for today and every haircut you have given.

The Strand offer good advice for me and are very patient with my children. The atmosphere is what makes a trip to this salon memorable. Thanks ladies.

Amazing colour & technique. Superb products used. Hair wash is fantastic - no more uncomfortable head back they have the latest comfortable recliners for the sinks. Staff are so friendly & polite. So pleased I found this salon

I cannot even begin to explain how embarrassed I was yesterday 7/9/21 when visiting Marie Claire in Hull.I called in my lunch hour to cancel my granddaughter appointment for 11/9/21 and to confirm my own for the same day.Ami the salon manager along with 2 other employees were present.Ami asked me not to speak to her as she was actually on holiday? But iinterrupted the young lady who served me.by telling me I was booked for a cut and colour on the said date.I politely pointed out that it was just a cut and that it had only been under 4 weeks since my last colour.on 13/8/21 .In not so many words she called me a liar and that in her words I quote You need to be more on the ball with your appointments!!!!! Maybe she could have taken me to a quiet corner instead of humiliaty in front of her other employees? This said I cannot fault Bianca the stylist who I have visited for many years and regret this loss ?

Hate my hair by ***** and wish had it done somewhere else now. Definitely won't be returning there again. Also made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable too.

I found Marie Clare 4 years ago and wouldn't ever go anywhere else. I have had all the stylist cut and colour my hair and they are all amazing! I love that the products they use are exclusive to them and are vegan and eco friendly too. The salon is absolutely beautiful and I don't think I've ever had less than a 5* service.

I have been using this salon for many years now, and as always the service was fab. Thanks to the lovely Abbie and the team. See you soon!

Totally disappointed in my service from *****, did not like his attitude at all, never got offered a drink, I found him extremely rude. Would not recommend having hair cut with him

Had a previous bad experience with lashes (not with Marie Claire Salon) so i was very nervous in the chair. This was a totally different experience, so no glue fumes in eyes. However I did not feel as if the girl listened to what I wanted and made me feel a bit silly and rushed when I was trying to explain (maybe a diagram might have helped) the glue did slightly stick my lashes together and the girlthen made an excuse to walk off. Not impressed and won't be going back.

Many thanks to the wonderful Abbie. My hair is fab, both colour and cut. Thanks to Sophie too, my nails are absolutely gorgeous and always so meticulous. It's such a pleasure to go to the salon as the whole team make me feel special. It's such a unique experience to be listened to and come out with what you ask for-even if you're not sure what you want! Could never think of going anywhere else. Thank you guys, you're all amazing X

Had highlights and cut today by Chloe, first time I have visited the salon as only recently moved to the area . I'm really pleased with my colours and style and would highly recommend this salon and Chloe :)

I had my hair cut with Natalie today and she was amazing I showed her the styles I like and she was honest and told me what would suit me. Through out my cut she and I didn't stop talking. I felt relaxed and happy. At the end my hair looked like the picture best cut yet!!! Deffiantly will return and Natalie will be my hair Dresser for life.

Molly did my express lashed she was great! Made me feel at ease while having them done can't even feel them on, definitely recommend!

Was well impressed with the salon very spacious and appealing. My stylist Maisie was amazing did exactly what I asked for and took time with my cut. I am definitely making this my regular salon

I really love going to Marie Clare, unfortunately this time when I had my hair coloured the ends have come out a bit purple, which isn't what I wanted so isn't ideal, but she said it should wash out within 3 washes and if not to get back In touch, so then whole situation was handled very well! Great service, it's such a treat going to Marie Clare! Highly recommend!

In general, I don't like having my hair done. But Natalie made me feel at ease, gave a thorough consultation and the whole salon was so professional.

Myself and my 3 sons always get our hair done here, a friendly professional atmosphere along with spacious comfortable surroundings make for a lovely experience each time.

the salon is so nice and clean with very professional staff. always attentive. they make you feel very comfortable and give you the hairstyle you want. have been a couple of times now and will be going again soon.

I went for my cut and finish today with Abby and as usual first class.Love the salon,I always feel very relaxed.All the staff are friendly and professional esp the receptionist .I have been going to the Marie Clare salon for 7 years.

Excellent saloon,chloe is really good. She does exactly what you want plus remembers what you like for the next time, even if it's been more than a month apart.

I have had a wonderful experience and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this salon and it is set in a truly unique building. A true gem in the heart of Hull.

I hate to leave a negative review, and am never a complainer usually, but I was a bit disappointed by my appointment. I did book the wax only last week, so didn't request a particular beautician. I know I'm really sensitive to strip wax, so I asked the lady on the phone if I could have a hot wax instead. However when I arrived for my appointment I was told the salon no-longer did hot wax. Braving myself for a normal wax, I did mention to the lady I was a bit sensitive. I know I've not had a wax in a while but I've got some really sore bits where the skin's been lifted as well as the hair. I can be wimpy, but I've had some waxes which are a lot less painful. I've had to use a lot of e45 and sudacrem today

The eyelash tint was good although a few of the lashes at the edges of the eyes have been missed
I hate to write a bad review- the salon is lovely and friendly and I'm probably a bit of an odd one for waxes, but I'll try and book with my usual lady in a different salon for a wax

I've been a client of Marie Clare since its first opened. The salon itself? It's setting is second to none. A very laid back high end salon. Modern with very professional staff (I have to mention the girls on reception who do a fabulous job from the minute you arrive to the moment you leave)

My stylist? Bianca has been cutting my hair for more years than I care to remember. Why Bianca? Why this recommendation? Because I've yet to meet a hairdresser that's better!!! Her attention to detail is without question second to none!

We all think our hairdressers the best, I KNOW mine is!!

I have absolutely no hesitation at all in recommending Bianca and this high end salon!!!

I was a little early to my appointment which I didn't mind waiting as the atmosphere and setting at Marie Clare beauty rooms in very relaxing and pretty to look at. I was offered may drinks whilst there which I thought was very nice and the members of staff showed a very positive and happy attitude towards me and other customers. The girl doing my pedicure was able to keep me well entertained in conversations as well as my relaxing pedicure which I was very impressed with. The music in the background also helped with the relaxation process. The equipment and range of colours to choose from were very appealing and I would certainly recommend using Marie Clare as I will be visiting again when I can.

Lauren is amazing!! She did my hair for the first time today and she helped me decide what colours to go for and I love the way she cut my hair. She curled my hair as I am going out and wanted something different and I love it. Thank you so much!
