I am disappointed that no one contacted me prior to my appointment to check if it would be ok for the trainee to be looking after me instead of the hairdresser I had originally booked in with.
I tought it would not be fair to make her feel awkward so I let her look after me but the service was not as detailed as before. No offer of a drink on arrival, no offer of the usual massage, I had to explain which products to use, no one checked my roots had been well covered before I left and I believe I still paid the same price as of a fully qualified hairdresser i.e£40.
The trainee did a good job but I would have liked to be informed that my hairdresser could not see me and be given the options to rebook or to have the trainee.
