I have been with Essenuals Toni & Guy since it first opened in Billericay. Had a variety of stylists over the years. However, I now always have Lewis as he knows exactly how to cut my hair without asking,leaving feeling really happy for the rest of the day. The service of the others everyone is friendly and the salon is spotless.

I am a regular at essensuals due to the fact I am always happy with my experience and quality of haircut there. My regular barber James is always extremely helpful and friendly and I have recommended his service to many of my friends. I will not be looking for anywhere else to cut my hair in the future!

As always just what you would like In a hairdressers, not only was it friendly but everyone smiling which is something that rarely happens in a customer service place nowadays

Joe was top drawer.

Appointment didn’t get off to a great start when my 11.45 appt, which I thought was the second of the hairdressers day, was 20 minutes late starting and no apology offered.
Person who washed hair was obviously inexperienced and unclear what to do.. very disappointing head massage, usually the highlight of the washing process which is often about dodging the water spray. Massage was very brief and poor, more training required.
He had a lot of difficulty getting the water temperature right, which is a problem most times. I pay an awful lot of money to have my hair done, so can you please invest some of your profits in a new water system.
Overall finish was ok, although i was in the shop a lot longer than normal.
I consider the whole experience to be vastly overpriced, and, considering how much I pay (every six weeks), I certainly don’t feel like a valued customer.

Love coming in, getting my barnet sorted and having a chat with Jim!!

I have been coming to essentials toni and guy billericay for a couple of years and have been requesting Emily may I say she is stop stylist I've tried them all including the west end and she is miles above them and also very professional and at the same time friendly which makes the visit even more worthwhile

Jim Shaw is a great hairdresser and I would recommend him to anyone. He also has a great team around him. Given that he is one of the best hairdressers in the world (see link below) the prices are pretty reasonable as well.

As usual always a pleasure Lewis cuts my hair exactly how I want it very nice young man washed it think his name was Luke but not positive lovely salon and staff.

My colour looks beautiful. I always feel with the glossing that the condition is looked after. The colour is rich and has given my hair a beautiful shine. Lewis also too listens to exactly how I want my hair cut, this complements my colour. Today I had a different apprentice who washed off my colour who gave my hair a great treatment. She was lovely to talk to. Thank you for looking after me today, making my visit yet again at Essensuals perfect.

Great advise from Daisy and going for a new colour. Polite and delight as always. Then had a cut and blow dry by Lewis and walked out feeling great. Lovely staff
