Twice in one year I've paid almost £35 for the privilege of a haircut several centimetres shorter than I requested. I gave the benefit of the doubt and ensured it was a different stylist the 2nd time, but never again. I even took a photo to ensure there would be no confusion about the cut I wanted. Both times the fringe was barely touched despite asking for a proper shaping (they only cut into the ends and left the length), I've had to cut it myself when I get home after discovering it obscures my eyesight with a slight breeze. I requested a long bob, with the length a couple inches past the tip of my chin. It's now so short the ends graze my earlobes even after straightening. I also specifically said it should be all one length; I was ignored in favour of an unflattering style that's shorter at the back. I have to attend 2 weddings with an un-salvageable mess on my head, I would've been better off leaving it long. I have never felt so ugly in my life.
