So disappointed as I had really high hopes for this Salon. I have short hair and 4 weeks ago I had a cut In Gloucester which was not right and left too long. I saw Chewys and noted that they were trained by John Phelps my hairdresser years ago and thought I had found the answer to my problem, My hair was cut and blow dried. The next morning I discovered all the mistakes hidden by the blow dry. i.e one side longer, the nape still long and some very short sections throughout. The front too heavy ,so in the morning lots of bits sticking out!. Having struggled with it for over a week I phoned the Salon asking for the Manager yesterday am it is now 3pm the following day and no reply!!!!!
It seems to be another case of take your money and don't give a damn!!!!!! I give no stars for the result!
I had my hair done here, the stylist was friendly however I left feeling very disappointed. I should of been told at the first consultation it was a gradual process if that was the case not after when I am already upset at the outcome, but I wasn't! Even on the day I was told we will get rid of your warmth today and yet my hair doesn't look any different to before I walked in. My hair is now patchy and yellow! The whole reason I booked my hair to be done in the first place was to eliminate this. I was told I can see what you mean it will take a few more attempts but this is not what was said at the beginning and as I was charged £170 I would expect a better service. I was told if I am not happy to ring up and they would try to rectify so I did and yet I get fobbed off with a free shampoo and blow-dry to help. Turns out after I leave they ring and state the shampoo and blow-dry will be chargeable if taking £170 for the abysmal hair colour and tiny trim wasn't enough.
Millie completed a restyle for my daughter. She took time to really understand what my daughter wanted and the explained what she was able to achieve based on her her hair texture and thickness. My daughter came away thrilled and so am I... will definitely be booking a return visit soon! Thank you Millie!

This was my first time to the salon and it won't be my last. Even during these weird times, the ladies there were so lovely and welcoming. The salon was spotless and I've never felt so relaxed having my hair done. Will happily return in the new year for my next trim.

Previously happy customer no longer impressed. My usual stylist who managed my thick, wavy hair really well left at very short notice and I was offered an alternative appointment with another senior stylist. I regret taking up that offer, worst haircut ever. Hair looks like chunks have been hacked out rather than cut, uneven and several people have asked what happened to my hair as so bad. The cut was rushed and the lack of attention to detail is clearly evident. Such a shame, that can no longer recommend.
