Today I visited The Steampunk Rooms in Quedgeley for the first time. I don't know about you but it came nervous going somewhere new. The experience was lovely. On a roasting hot day like today, I was instantly offered a cold drink and the chance to cool down by Kate the hairdresser there. She is lovely, down to hair and a bit of a giggle. But most importantly I am really pleased with my new hairstyle. I now have a bob! Kate took time to chat first about the texture of my hair etc before even shampooing. A lot of hairdressers don't do that.
So in summary - I will be returning as for first timers you get a 20% discount and then a 10% discount.

Thank you so much for my amazing hair change, I have had some bad experiences at other salons previously and felt completely relaxed here thanks to Kate and the team. Despite my hair taking longer than expected as there's so much of it, I didn't feel as if I was a nuisance and cannot recommend Steampunk rooms and Kate enough!

Steampunk rooms has free parking outside, a beautifully hip interior & friendly & professional staff, Penny did a wonderful job on my nails & eyebrows and I will definately be returning!
First time at the salon. Abbie cut my hair, she's been with the salon only a short time. She was happy for me to show her a photo of how I wanted my hair and she nailed it! Very happy with the results.
Staff were all lovely and very welcoming and I loved the whole ambience. So happy this salon is close to home. Easy to Park with no additional charges, I will definitely return!

My appointment was excellent from beginning to end. Kate talked me through hairstyles showing me photos which enabled me to choose a new style. Kate made me feel very relaxed and I loved the banter ........informal and friendly (who doesn't like a natter) I was kept hydrated with offers of refreshments (lovely coffee). The cut the colour are just perfect .......plus had a manicure and nails gelled .... so I guess what I'm saying ...thank you Kate and see you at my next appointment.......

I visited this gorgeous salon today, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I've visited a couple of local salons but I never felt very welcome as a new client, that was not the case at steampunk rooms. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome, it felt like I was a returning client and I'm looking forward to returning. Would highly recommend a visit to this salon.
