Had a great colour experience with Mike but poor customer service from another stylist who kept whispering to various of her colleagues who were drying my hair that it was not a rough blow dry they were doing. Found this very unprofessional as she did this in front of me. Hugely disappointing as Mike was great with my colour service. But I won’t be coming back to this salon due to her lack of professionalism.

My visit started with my hair being washed whilst I sat in a reclining massage chair, followed by a wonderful scalp massage - bliss! Then Maki worked her magic and once again did an excellent cut which lifted my hair and gave it great body. I would highly recommend Maki!

To say I’m picky about my hairdressers is an understatement. So I’m very, VERY happy to have found Elijah. Not only does he have a very obvious high standard of technical ability, but he also has that rare quality of taking the time to understand what will make you look your best…I never feel imposed on and feel I’m in safe hands. I had a balayage with Emma and I have to say I’m amazed with the results! I was impress at how profesional and neet her technique was during the process. She also suggested the perfect tone for matching my sking wich I’m glad I trusted because it looks a stunning! She also was very kind and caring person, same as her lovely assistant Frankie.
Then Sara cutter my hair, she was fantastic, very profesional technique too, she gave me fabulous hair cut that added lots of volume and made my hair look healthier, then she made my hair curly wich I absolutely loved!
After a few days of that I’ve received many compliments about my hair from friends and family! I highly recommend their service! I couldn’t be happier with the results so thank you very much girls and definitely see you again very soon!

Elijah is a great stylist! He listens carefully to understand what result you want to get and also advises you on what could suit you best. He is professional and keen on what he does, and the care he puts into his work is visible in the result of the haircut. I’m not used to going to hair salons often, also because I was generally disappointed with the result I got. But I can’t say the same about my experience at Hob. Thus, I am always happy to come back to refresh the cut. Hob Salon is a welcoming place with kind and easygoing people who creates a lovely environment. I highly recommend Hob Salon and Elijah as a stylist!

Had to go to a Karen Carpenter musical show and decided to dress up. Mike was so fantastic and did my hair perfectly. Karen Carpenter’s biographer was there and wanted photos of me. It was the hair that gave me the confidence. Mike is the very best of stylists. Thank you, genius!

I’ve been coming to hob salon in Camden for more than 10 years. For the last 6 years I’ve been using the exceptional services of Maki! Her attention to detail is second to none. She’s nothing but a joy to be around, always kind, attentive and caring. I highly recommend the salon, but Maki in particular!

I wouldn't recommend the man never gave me his name and by the way he acted he wasn't a top stylist. I was supposed to have lots of refreshments and I only got one coffee. I have logged an official complaint with virgin experience about the Camden hob hair salon the experience was supposed to be 1 1/2 hour and it was less than an hour. I asked for a long curl wavy style and it's barely that. My daughter can do a better job and she isn't a qualified hair stylist. I did mention this to the lady as I was leaving the hair style wasn't brilliant but she didn't care.

Maki did a wonderful job. I fell in love with myself as love the hair cut. She did exactly what we discussed. She communicated everything about process and asked necessary questions about my preferences. She is very professional. I had very long hair and got shoulder length cut.
