I adore Maki and the service she has given me over the many years I’ve frequented the salon has always been attentive and professional.
The salon itself, from appearances it has gone done hill over the last few years. It doesn’t look like there is any investment from the owners and the service has been affected as such.
With Covid - new rules means certain things have to be change to meet regulations made by the government however it appears to me that the salon has taken an opportunistic approach during this. The towels are now disposable and why it may seem this is due to Covid, we both knot that this was something the salon was doing before Covid. Other salons and gyms still offer towel service. This completely cheapens the place and overall feel of the salon brand to me. Originally viewing Hob as a high brand of luxury salon, this imagine has been reduced and removed in the last few years. I only stay because of the staff.
