About us

Toni&Guy Covent Garden is home of 2 award winning members of the international artistic team. Including British Hairdressing Awards Avant-Garde winner Indira Schauwecker, along with, L’Oreal’s young colourist of the year, Georgie Mathers. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice!
All of our art directors head up educational courses at the prestigious TONI&GUY Academy, London. We boast a hub of creativity with a number of our stylists in the TONI&GUY Session Team working on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week and photoshoots for national magazines epitomising the company’s ‘catwalk-to-client’ philosophy. Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Degree and Wella Master Colour Expert award- their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice! We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry, extensions and Olaplex. Great short cut!

I used to have a hair cut by Dexter, but he doesn't work this salon any more.
So this time I had a hair cut with Lucy, I requested her very short hair and I told her my hair is very straight, strong and jumpy if cutting too short, but after I had hair cut since last Thursday it has been still great look my hair! She was very good host and take a time to cutting my hair!
Also while I was waiting Lucy, the young male receptionist was very friendly! Thank you so much!

I had a lovely experience at the salon. The colour is the best I’ve had in ages and the stylist who did the cutting took great care. My only comment concerns the fact that face masks should be worn alone or in addition to face shields by stylists. It seems that face shields are not enough to provide protection. I understand that guidance from the government is not clear but it would be easy to make all of us really feel safe. Everyone wearing a face mask.

Balayage

I forgot the name of my stylist who did my Balayage earlier today but I am happy that she explained to me that my expected hair color would not be achievable as of the moment since my hair is really black, so that was fine.

It is my first time to have a Balayage so I don’t really have any idea on what would be best so I just let the stylist do what she thinks is best.

So after the color and the haircut , here is my review though.

They did the hair color first before the haircut and so I was a bit worried that when the hairdresser starts to cut my hair the Colored part of the hair will be cut which I think is a waste of the hair color that I paid for.

Also it would have been better if the color was placed higher because I just think the color was just only on the lower part of my hair.

Overall the staff treated me well, and I was happy because atleast my hair looks better now, but I am not 100% satisfied with the result of the balayage.
