TONI&GUY Long Acre

I had a mixed experience at Long Acre. First, I booked to see a specific person to colour my hair (a friend recommended her) but I was given someone else without any prior notice at all. Thankfully, it worked out good as the other senior technician did an amazing job with the colour and I’m very happy with it.
However, Beware the stylist who cut my hair - *******. When she asked about my haircare regime and I told her I colour my hair myself and use standard brands on daily basis, she pulled faces, started exclaiming “no no no” loudly in front of people and was totally unprofessional, making a lot of unnecessary judgmental comments. I couldn’t figure out whether she was trying to patronise me or put me down. Maybe it wasn’t intentional but a very stupid tactic to get you to buy their products and visit them more often, but for the price you pay at Toni and Guy, the least you deserve is respect. Plus I felt she essentially did what she wanted with my hair and didn’t really care what I was saying. It wasn’t until I washed my hair again that I realised it was chopped off a lot more than I wanted (because it had been straightened) and so my request to keep the same/similar length was ignored.
Otherwise, service was ok.
I recommend Alex for your colour - he shows true interest in getting the right colour for you, is friendly and does a great job.
Though I’m not sure I’d be visiting Long Acre again. Maybe a different T&G branch next time.
