HARE & BONE - London

The staff are friendly from the moment you walk in. For such a prestigious and award winning salon, there is not a hint of pretentiousness to be found. I have been twice now, once for a cut and then for a colour - both with a stylist who listened to what I asked for and outdid my expectations for both. I feel very well looked after when there too - with back massaging chairs while my hair is washed to complimentary tea or wine! Perfect place for pampering and to unwind.
I am so happy I found this salon & never want to leave!

Esther is the most artistic, professional, charming hairdresser ever. I have very difficult hair which many hairdressers have been at a loss to tame and shape and I have used many many hairdressers in London who have failed miserably. From my first visit a year ago it has never been a problem for Esther an I am eternally grateful.

Nathan is a talented and knowledgeable stylist. I would recommend going to him for any major change. He really listens to what you want and adapts accordingly to suit your hair.
All the staff there are super friendly and accommodating!

I love this place and I love my stylist, so should I say this? If I can't make a booking because everyone and their mother starts going I'm gonna get annoyed ????. But.... I love this place. Friendly people with talent and experience in abundance. I can make a decision before, during or after an appointment and can even not have any idea on my arrival of what I want or what would suit me or my hair type (which is mostly my way). Colour, cuts total restyles, whichever I'm after, I'm relaxed, no sweaty palm moments, because I know I will leave smiling at the results and the experience!

I've lived in Central London for 12 years and never gone back to the same salon and hair stylist (truth) until I found Hare & Bone earlier this year. I've just not found a stylist I trust and now I have!

The people, products and place are spot on. Amy (my regular senior stylist) always listens to what I'm after (and the troubles and giggles of my day!) and is particularly great with colour. I go in with grey roots and come out transformed. An unpretentious atmosphere, it's clear everyone here loves their job and it shows in the service they provide. Everything adds up to make visiting Hare and Bone a real pleasure. From delightful receptionists to a free glass of bubbly to the junior stylists who give great head massage's to the times I treat myself to a bouncy blow dry or hair up for a special event. I'm not made of money and this place is not cheap but it's totally worth it. I even come in now I've moved out of London! I'll be back! ????

I had a full balayage, cut and blow dry with Nathan. It was one of the best cuts (possibly THE best) I've ever had and the colour looks great - really subtle, and suits my colouring perfectly. Nathan was great - he understood exactly what I wanted and was very meticulous. This is pricey but worth it. Will be coming here for all my cuts now!

I moved to Hare & Bone from Rush after my stylist lest. I've since been having my hair cut with Amy who is not only an incredible men's hair stylist but wonderfully friendly - I look forward to our chats each month! Nurun does an amazing job at the front desk looking after customers' every need - including topping up my wine glass after a bad day! Great team and very personalised service - thank you! Stu

Hare and Bone came recommended to me a year ago - and I've been coming back ever since.

One of the things they get so right is the overall experience. The team here are seriously talented and can style it out with the best, led by the head man himself, Sam. But they are also super down to earth, really dedicated to what they do and unpretentious.

Big shout out, too, to Nurun - she is a big part of what makes the place special. Front of house, this lady is stellar at customer service. She's thoughtful, friendly, remembers the little details and always makes me feel like a VIP.

The team totally nailed my uber glossy red balayage, which I adore. I'd recommend Nathan, who currently looks after my mane, and does a sterling job of it.

It's not cheap - though I'd argue for the great quality and Central London location, its very competitive.

The cut was great and the entire experience was a joy.

I came to the Hare and Bone because of the wonderful reviews and I'm so glad I did. From the moment we arrived we were really looked after by Sam and his fantastic staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We came all the way from South Wales just to have my hair done and it was well worth it. Sam did my hair and really made me feel at ease as soon as I met him,what a lovely guy, my hair was coloured and cut to perfection! Sam really knows his stuff! He gave me so many tips from drying my hair, what brush would be best for me to use, shampoo etc and to much more to mention. If you are thinking of trying a new hairdresser you MUST come here, you will not be sorry. I saw so many lovely hair do's leaving the salon.This is the BEST salon I have been to in all of London and I've been to quite a few. Thank you Sam and your wonderful team, I will be back xx

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff on reception are so friendly and the atmosphere so second to none. Sam is a creative genius and is outstanding at what he does.

I have recently moved to London from New Zealand and found it very hard to find the right hairdresser. I looked up top ten in London and Hare and Bone came up so thought I would give them a try. They definitely didn't disappoint my cut and colour iis probably the best I've ever had and the service was wonderful ask for Nathan!!! The free snacks and bubbles was also a bonus!!!

Great staff, great location, great environment; Hare & Bone takes a clearly professional attitude towards its customers and provides great cuts. Will certainly come back.

Always do exactly what you ask for, so knowledgable which makes you feel safe and I have always been more than happy with the outcome. The staff go beyond the call of duty and are all very friendly. Would def recommend! I just wish it wasn't so expensive ????

Esther of Hare & Bone does my colour and cut every few weeks, even though she spends much of her time in Spain now.

Refreshing my colour and reshaping my hair with a great cut helps to build my self-confidence, and I always get compliments after my visits.

I also enjoy the massage chair and head massage while I'm having my hair washed - really relaxing!

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the salon is smart and modern without being pretentious. It's in a good location, too, a short walk north from Oxford Circus and about 10 minutes from Warren Street.

It is a bit pricey, though.

Great friendly salon. They know what they're doing, don't hesitate to book.

I've had my hair cut a few times by Chloe and was in need of some highlights. My hair isn't easy: its curly, and every curly person knows just how to do their hair - it's hard to replicate. I can honestly say I have never left a hairdressers with a good hair-do, until Chloe started to do my hair. Today I left the salon loving my new colour and cut! I always get to have such a lovely chat and giggle too, which is an added bonus for sure.
