I am writing this review 3 months after my haircut, because I have unable to constructively write anything about Hob salons to date.
I had a haircut with ***** in Northwood, I showed her several pictures and felt she understood I wanted a long Bob, with slight layers where it will look slightly longer at the front as it is essentially one length all the way around. Everything felt like it was going ok, until I noticed my hair was a little shorter than we agreed. I expressed this immediately, but trusted this stylist who has lots of experience knew what she was doing. She then proceeded to feather my hair from the front where it was shorter than the back and I ultimately didn’t have a Bob at all.
Subsequently, I’ve been unable to get it fixed without cutting it even more to even it out and ending up with a chin length Bob. The new stylist I showed it too, said it was so heavily feathered on one side, it was like I had two different hairstyles on either side of my head and I can see that so I agreed to not cut it anymore and leave it to grow out. If I middle part one side is really heavy and the other feathered and shorter and the other side is longer and looks like a long Bob.
Where did this woman train? Even 3 months after the fact, I can’t open my hair and leave it down, because of the botch job she has given me. No amount of styling can fix a BAD haircut that I paid £75 for.
What upset me more the day she did it, was she insisted she did what I asked for and my hair looked absolutely nothing like the photo, she could see I was in tears and I felt like she just wanted me out of the salon so she could forget she had completely ruined my hair.
