I went with my son get his hair cut and they finished in less than 5 minutes.Superficial and not even,my son didn't want to go to school next day.Will never go again there
Terrible haircut by top stylist. Complete waste of money. Had to have my hair cut elsewhere less than two weeks later.
They do not listen. Avoid if you want to save your peace of mind
I went to this salon to have a cut and dye. I paid over the odds and it didn’t seem like it was dyed when I was left - not much change to the colour considering what I asked for. I reluctantly called back to let them know and they told me I could go back. When i went back I was told by the hairstylist that they thought it wasn’t done correctly the last time. Knowing that they didn’t say or do anything so it seems as if they hoped I was happy and didn’t call back.. they worked on my hair and it’s opposite where it’s way too bright and yellow! I am unhappy with my hair and the amount of time and money i wasted here. I would not go back.

Unfortunately our hairdresser wasn't in but the director had space so cut our hair. It was my 2 year old daughters first cut and he made her feel comfortable and ensured he did a thorough job. I had a great hair cut and got some good advice.
Called first thing to see if I could get a blow dry. Very accommodating, promised to fit me in as soon as I arrived. Lovely salon. Professional and friendly. I was greeted as I walked in and seated straightaway. A lovely stylist named Abbie gave me an excellent blow dry which feels and looks wonderful. Will definitely be back. Thank you nice people at MG

Lovely service and good cut and blow dry
I had a consultantion before my balayge and i explained what i wanted and showed him pictures. We both agreed on the colours. I was v optimistic, until after i saw the end product. There was no blonde parts, the colour looked blocked and colour was more chocolate than ash brown/blonde. The person who cut my hair cut the layers too short when i asked her to just refresh quite a few times,, by the time i could say anything it was done, but i didnt say anything as the blow dried effect looked nice, but the next day not good. Im not usually one to ever complain but im actually quite unhappy with it. The colourist and the lady who cut my hair were really nice, but i think i should have waited for a master stylist. I came back here as ive had bad experiences at other places and ive always come back to Martin Gold even though its not in my area and that 2 of my family members come here. I didnt call the salon the next day after the colour as i wasnt sure if i should complain. Also it was a saturday and a big Jewish holiday, the manager would not have been there. I will call the salon and ask if they can help rectify it as i paid quite alot. I also tipped them both as they are genuinely nice people. P.s i have always been happy with the salon.

Alison/Coloirist: has kept me current, classic, trendy and feeling fabulous.. she is very versatile, passionate and colour is her second skin, she is my Camillion.. Yamina/Stylist: today, Yamina, styled my hair for the first time, she was a great listener, and executed my hair beautifully, and very quick at blow drying.. left the Salon feeling sexy and satisfied

Alison and Abi were great today. My booking have been taken down wrong and Alison accommodated me anyways! She did an amazing job with my colour and Abi cut it to perfection. They gave my hair life again! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hair.

Whilst washing my hair back of my top got completely wet and nobody seemed bothered. Apart from the receptionist there was no customer service from the others involved. No polite talk. Salon is very noisy and it seems because lots of hairdressers just sitting around gossiping. As a customer you are not made to feel special. I would expect a lot more for the money charged. I get the impression if you are a regular then you are treated really well but not so much if you are not.
I arrived at the salon in good time and was seen very promptly. Staff were very efficient and I was soon "in the chair". I was made to feel welcome and was offered a tea or coffee. In all, a very positive experience.
