This was my first visit to this salon to use their tanning facilities.
When paying for this i was not asked for my details, skin type...nothing. I asked when the beds had been re tubed to gage how many minutes I should have to which the receptionist said "i dont know".
I asked where they were, she told me to go behind her and up the stairs.
It didnt look very pleasant and I wasn't too keen. The doors were shutter style doors, 2 which you locked together. Your couldn't see underneath or over but i did wonder if they were even safe. The room was dark with no light only light coming from the window in the toilet area....enough to provide some light to the room so you could see.
whilst using the sunbed I heard a loud bang.... i then looked out the sunbed to then realise the doors to the room had been opened.
I quickly got off the sunbed covered myself with my scarf to which i had to stand naked in an area open to the public where another stand up sunbed cubicle was on the landing. fter doing that i quickly got dressed and then heard rustling in my room. I was petrified! I shouted! Then a lady then came out of the toilet stepped over my clothes and belongings and said " Don't worry love i haven't got my glasses on i cant see anything".
The scary thing about this is i saw this woman walking outside with her hair coloured having a cigarette as i walked in. So this lady had come back in from the precinct and been able to walk upstairs to use the toilet.
No one was manning reception keeping myself safe. What if it was a man? what is my belongings had been taken.
When calling the owner all she could say was sorry!
I am still in shock that this had even happened... this should not have happened.
I would NOT recommend anyone use this salon. They should not be allowed to have those facilities if they cant insure that people are safe.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!
