Paige was my stylist today (she doesn't appear on the drop down list) Whilst I was v pleased with the way Paige did my hair today, I did find the 3 hours it took to colour and blow dry my hair a bit excessive. The salon was seriously understaffed, and the 2 stylists on duty had their own clients to attend, the phone to answer, clients walking in off the street to make bookings, drinks to make, deliveries coming in, hair from previous clients still on the floor... This was all at the expense of the clients already Sat in the chair. I have my own business to run and a small child at school, so time is very precious to me. I seem to remember Sage send g out an email recently about time lost due to no show clients. Well, its a 2 way thing, clients expect a timely service. Paige's next client also had at least a 20 min wait whilst my hair was being dried. Paige did a great job of my hair but I don't see how a stylist can do their best when under a time constraint. Goodness knows when the poor girl had her lunch! I was ravenous by the time I left. Also, Wickham Square only offers 3 hour parking, so I was starting to get a bit anxious about my car. I had 1 minute to spare! It really might be an idea to employ a receptionist so stylists are able to fully focus on their clients.

Yesterday was a tough day!
Monday’s are usually very quiet which is why we have minimal staff. I am usually at the salon as well on a Monday but unfortunately yesterday I was on a course and we didn’t have cover as the other girls have their scheduled days off.
Typically yesterday turned out to be really busy which is usually unheard of for a Monday! And the fact that I am usually there to answer the phone, deal with bookings, make drinks and shampoo put extra strain on Paige and Amy who were as you could see, extremely busy!
I appreciate your time is precious to you and I apologise that the service you received yesterday wasn’t as good as it should have been.
The girls tried there very best to deliver all our clients that were in the salon yesterday the very best service under the circumstances but as you say they were understaffed and under pressure to make sure that the service was delivered properly and that you were happy with your hair when you left.
I have taken your comments on board and have discussed with the team how we can prevent this from happening in the future.
I think yesterday was one of those days where everything happens all at once and wasn’t helped by myself not being there to help.
I am pleased that you are happy with your hair and I have passed your comments onto Paige.
