Wispers Hair & Nails

I decided to treat myself to the Wispers experience and I was not disappointed.
Upon entering I was greeted by a smiling bubbly receptionist who offered me some complimentary chocolates, and this is where the “little things” comment in my title come in to my review. I noticed that the coffee ones had been pre removed.
Hayley then welcomed me personally and took me to her station, straight away I was offered a selection of drinks and a mince pie, hot or cold (the little things again).
Being a bit old fashioned I went for an americano and a cold mince pie.
Hayley and I then discussed what was required with my hair. Being a stylish gent and with my grooming always maintained, a trim was all that was required.
Hayley really impressed me with her knowledge and experience . Due to having some background in the industry I feel I can comment comfortably on this.
Hayley went straight to work with no pause or hesitation, her scissoring and skill with the clippers was extremely fluid that belies her years.
Once again the “little things” Hayley applied hair tonic. This is a new experience for me and not one I have had in a salon before. You may think hair tonic is a bit old fashioned but let me tell you, it was magnificent.
Whilst Hayley disappeared to get some product I took the time to drink my coffee and take in the ambience of the salon.
The main thing I noticed was how cheerful the staff were, it was close to the end of a long busy Saturday yet all the staff were full of enthusiasm. The atmosphere created was they all appeared to love their job and really wanted to be there. From the senior staff producing styles that wouldn’t look out of place on New York fashion week to the younger juniors performing cleansing duties in a swift yet non obstructive way so as not to distract the stylists.
Hayley returned to complete her work on myself and i have to say, satisfaction was achieved.
I will definitely be returning and to be honest, I can’t wait.
