What’s not to love! Shampoo and head massage in a massage chair followed by a great cut and blow dry that made my very fine hair look thicker, shiny and super stylish.

Dawn was extremely friendly and welcoming as always. She helped me choose the right colours for my hair, chatted and kept me informed all the way through. Amazing experience and always recommend Dawn to everyone. Will be returning again.

So Beth did my hair,was my first time at AG and it won’t be my last!! It’s been a long time since I’ve found a salon that made me feel as welcome as the team at AG did. Beth was absolutely lovely,she listened to what I asked for,took the time to explain everything,and was just the loveliest person to chat to! I felt she took real care and attention to detail to my hair,and felt she did really care about how it looked(which is something I’ve felt previous salons haven’t!) I thought the price was excellant value for money,and I am already looking to book to come and have colour done! Thank you!!

I had been in to the salon to discuss bayliage, shown photos of what I wanted to achieve, had a strand test done and appointment was booked. Really disappointed that when I arrived I was told that a) my stylist couldn’t do bayliage and b) that I couldn’t get any lift on the colour as requested. Felt I spent over £100 and the result is no different to the colour I arrived with. Thankfully later having Dani to cut my hair, she advised that I should make an appointment with Dawn in order to get the colour I wanted. Had I been told this initially then I wouldn’t have wasted my money yesterday.

From booking my appointment online to having my restyle and booking another appointment for January was brilliant. This is the first time ever that I have rebooked to return. Lucy was amazing. Down to earth, no pressure and so so right with her recommendations. I love my restyle, you have no idea what the entire result means so thank you!! Such a smooth operation so thank you to all involved from reception to washing of hair to restyle!! Love it!!

Sophie, listened and understood exactly what I wanted from my appointment today. She carried out my requirements perfectly. I am really pleased with my cut, colour and styling. Sophie was very friendly and put me at ease straight away. She even advised my on some colour options for my next appointment.

Very very poor cut and blow dry
Colour is not great , yellow bleach stripes and feel like I have very dark roots still. Feels very unfinished. Was advised the colours to have for low maintenance roots. Feel like they still need doing !! Need to get my cut sorted, don’t know who to trust next.

Emma was so lovely and always makes me feel so at ease! She talked though what she was doing with my hair and was great at advising what could help. Over the mood with the end result, I love it!

I had an absolutely brilliant time being pampered and styled up today. Everyone friendly, professional and kind. Sophie makes the whole experience relaxing whilst doing a beautiful job of my hair.

Very happy with my appointment. All staff looked after me and were helpful. Dani advised on style and did a good cut.

Had a great wet cut from Louise today. She has been cutting my hair for years and I am always pleased with the results.

PS your coffee is undrinkable. Also this is the third appt in a row that has had to be changed and means the customer has to compromise on when it happens and what is accomplished.
I for one am happy to wear reused gowns rather than have more plastic go to landfill

I had a toner put on today with cut and blow dry. Emma has done it so lovely. The cut is amazing! I’m really pleased with the salon.

I have been going here for a number of years and always found the staff professional and felt very safe through covid.
I am now going through cancer treatment and Emma and Lucy B (who would normally colour my hair) could not be more kind and caring and make me still feel special. Nothing is to much trouble for Emma to make me feel better about my hair and she is so thoughtful.
Would definitely recommend

Babies is a lovely lady, makes you feel really relaxed. She explains everything she is doing all the way through.

Abbey unwell so I had Charlotte who shampooed and cut and blow dried my hair to the standard that I am used to at Avant Gard. Very pleased with results.

Very happy with the service offered, excellent haircut from Steph as always, young lady who washed my hair very good also.

Not sure which Abbie cuts my hair so please check, but as usual Avant Garde were on time, helpful and no nonsense! Abbie is great, and I always come out of the salon feeling 100 times better than when I arrived.

After a very stressful few weeks and almost cancelling appointment Louise put me back together again whilst giving me a great cut as usual . Just love that woman!
