The Annexx

Hi Annex, I was a client with Lucy and Fran for years. Yesterday Emma did my hair. She did a brilliant job and I am happy with the result. I was quite shocked by the price increase though. I usually pay £80/90 and my total was £128 plus tip, this included 20% discount. I wasn't told this when I was booked and thought Emma was the same price level as Fran. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to afford these prices going forward. Carmel.

Rebecca is amazing, she totally gets me and what' suits me. I'm a big fan of this salon.
I was however totally disappointed to visit today (Saturday ,29th April) at 2pm and have my hair washed in COLD WATER, the young lady washing my hair was very sorry, to the point I felt I had to say 'it's ok' but frankly it's not - if I get cold water again, I won't be visiting - which is s shame because Rebecca and the 'feel' of this salon is what love. Berko has a lot of competition, I don't want to have to switch but I get cold water again a will be forced to.

The cut and colour that Charlotte gave me today was technically brilliant and looked fantastic but a visit to the annex is always so much more than a haircut. You feel welcomed into a family. A warm welcome awaits, with a lovely cup of coffee, a proper head massage and stimulating conversation. Thank you x

Saira cuts both my young daughters' hair and always takes great care and attention, carefully explaining what she's planning to do to get the best end result. The girls love her too, stay still when they need to and their hair looks beautiful when they leave!

Rather pricey by comparison will query and also hair looks blonder than requested. Happy with cut but after 24 hours colour still much lighter than described. I shall speak to them when next open.

Charlotte gave me some good ideas and came up with a really fab hair cut. She took a lot of care and time, despite being the end of a busy day. Brilliant hair stylist!

Fantastic as ever

Very pleasant experience this afternoon. Tanya spent a lot of time at the beginning going through all the colour options with me and, although she had never cut my hair before (usual cutter has left salon) at the end I was pleased with the result. I hate the constant loud music though and would have been happy to have had my hair cut downstairs, where it's quiet.

I had a wonderful experience at The Annexx, the staff were friendly and attentive. Beccy was responsible for my lovely hair do and understood exactly what I wanted. A wonderful couple of hours of pampering out of my busy day

The Annexx had been recommended to me by several people but I had never gotten around to going there. What a mistake. After my first visit I am converted and since then have also sent my mother (in her 80's) and my daughter (14) for appointments, both of whom have talked about their styles and cuts for hours / days afterwards. They obviously have very different needs but both look and feel stylish and beautiful.

Caroline, the owner and head stylist is just wonderful and the salon is buzzing; all the staff, starting with the wonderful receptionist, Elaine, are lovely and welcoming and best of all at the top of their game.

If like me, you've heard of The Annexx but never tried it I urge you to do so. It could be the best decision you ever make.

Tanya has cut and coloured my hair for my last three appointments.As a result my hair looks better than it has for years.She is creative with colour, and has given me a flattering cut.My best hairdresser in ages.I have booked her of course for my next appointment.

I had taken my 3 year old to The Annexx previously but was yet to have my hair cut here. Today was my first visit and it was great. Rebecca took time to chat & go through style images which was really useful & together we worked out what it was I wanted. I am really pleased with the resulting haircut and very impressed with my stylist and the salon overall.

Really pleased with the results today, my first time at the salon. Emma was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and the result was excellent.

I love this Salon, everyone gets on really well, Daisy & Rebecca usually do my hair, but when I've needed an appointment at short notice, any of the girls have done it for me. I'm always really happy with how they do my hair. My daughters love coming here too & love the hot chocolate ???? Charlotte is amazing and Catherine on the front desk is super efficient.

So happy with my result. Emma did an amazing job and and everyone is so friendly. Great value for money too.

As always a fab experience, Lucy always knows how I want my hair to be and cuts it beautifully, I also highly recommend the Annexx to friends.

I love going to the Annexx. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, the cut and colouring are always first class, and nothing is too much trouble. My friends always comment on what a great cut Lucy achieves with my dead straight hair. On top of that they are always generous when asked for charity donations. A great asset to our town!

Becky my usual stylist a delight as always , it was quieter than usual as it was Monday but that was great . I think it's good that they have gone back to using 'real towels ' . I think the prices have gone up again !

Picked up s last minute appointment today for root touch up which fitted in with my long booked cut and blow dry with salon owner and hairdresser extraordinaire Charlotte Johnson. My colour, cut and blow dry were, as always 5 star!

Just paid a visit to the Annexx and had my hair cut by Charlotte. A lovely salon - disabled friendly with a ground floor 'VIP' room. Highly recommended.
