This was my first visit to the salon and was made to feel welcome by everyone. Christina had a chat with me before we did anything to my hair and gave me her opinions and glad I went along with them as the end result is amazing. Couldn’t ask for more. Very happy and have even booked to go back.

Brilliant cut and restyle with Parris

My hair style was a bit tired and Christina re-styled my so I now feel I have a younger and tender look.

Feeling really bad after having a disappointing haircut where my hair was lobbed off much shorter than wanted, and then cut even shorter. Did not match the pictures that we discussed and looked at in any way, this was much shorter. I feel like perhaps it is my fault for not communicating what I wanted clearly enough, but then a good stylist should always check that they have a clear idea of the brief. She did not once ask how short to go or how much I wanted off. At one point she asked to go about an inch below the chin and I said yes (it was already mostly lobbed off) and this is way above the chin. I went in to have a restyle and to go shorter as my hair was long overdue a cut but I not to expect to have all my hair lobbed off way beyond what I wanted by a number of inches. I have a ball to attend tmrw night and not do not want to attend, yet alone the attention I will attract tmrw at work with such a dramatic change in hair than what I asked. My stylist was very brisk and seemed in a hurry throughout. I am highly disappointed and as a woman who has lost a lot of hair and had my hair change a lot since having a baby I understand how strongly emotional women can be about their hair. I am a confident person but this haircut has really knocked me and caused unnecessary stress.

Natalie did my hair absolutely perfectly. I didn’t even really know what I wanted when I walked in but I showed her some photos of how I liked it from a few years ago and she was able to cut it just right. The wash was brilliant, cut was so professional, and finish was amazing - I felt beautiful. I don’t think I have ever walked out of a hair salon feeling genuinely happy with how I look until today. I also could not believe the amazing value for money, especially in comparison to the other salons in Harpenden which are far more expensive for a far worse quality service. Thank you so much Natalie, I will be back!

Asked for some layers to be put in to my hair and was told it would cost more as it was a restyled. Final result was not a restyled it was just the same style/ length with a bit of feather cutting at the bottom. Looked no different.

Ellie cut my hair. As usual she did a great cut and blow dry. She is always very friendly and efficient.

Have been going to browns for years. I always have my hair cut by Ellie, she does an amazing job nothing is ever too much trouble at all. I always got nervous about having my hair cut, that all changed once Ellie started doing my hair not only does she cut my hair fantastically but also styles it perfectly. Ellie is so friendly and her hair dressing is just amazing.

Had an excellent service

unfortunately not sure if tongs shouldve been used on my hair but the curl that was put in fell out almost straight away so although it was nice to have a relaxing wash and blow dry the style didnt even last the evening. the girls lovely but very disappointing

So dissatisfied this time.!!!! Seeing senior hairdresser both for half head highlights and cut and finish. Disappointed with the colour service. I have been left with grey hairs on both sides in the front. Paying for colouring £87.50 I feel like I was rob of my money. When pointed out at the end I was told I should add tint service to cover my grey hair. Not really sure as the lady who does my highlights use both colour bleach and slightly darker one. Why she wasn’t able to cover my grey hair on the side? I really don’t get it! Other hairdressers could do in the past!!! If I see what she was doing I would point it to her but I was sat in so called colouring table without mirror so haven’t been able to see what she was doing. I would really appreciate response from the manager of the salon and appreciate some money back.
