Far more expensive than past hairdressers for this service by quite a lot. £162, normally around £100 max. I didn't have a cut in this price.
Christina is a lovely girl who takes great care to get things right. She has just graduated and was helped out at the end by a senior. The result was very good although on the expensive side! I paid £75 this time. She will get quicker as time goes on.

I look forward to my appointments. As always I get a fantastic colour, cut and finish. My hairdresser is chatty and always makes sure I am well looked after with, drinks, magazines, etc.
I am totally loyal to this salon, I would never go anywhere else, even though there are lots to choose from in Harpenden .
The staff are always professional, very friendly and do a great job every time .
If you are not totally satisfied for whatever reason, they will fix it until you are.
They value their customers and it shows .
I had a lovely hair wash with Becs this evening and then a great blow dry with Tigan. Always very happy with my blow dry’s , lovely friendly professional staff.
I rang the salon to see if Tegan could trim my fringe and I was told to pop in the following day at 1.15pm. I was quite shocked to then be charged £3 as whenever I have been in before for a trim I have not been charged. Apparently it was because whoever I had spoken to had booked an appointment for this but had not informed me that I would then be charged. I do find this unacceptable and think it comes down to poor management and training of staff. With the vast choice of salons in town customer service should be a high priority and I think they let themselves down
Rebecca is always friendly and welcoming when I come into the salon. Always listens to what I want and majesa little bit extra effort in. She will be sorely missed ????

Unquestionably the best cut and color I have had since moving to England from the US! Rebecca is brilliant. She took ages to work out exactly what my hair needed-three colors of foils and a toner to repair the damage done by another, less skillful stylist. After a lengthy and careful consultation, she executed her recommendations flawlessly. I have definitely found my shop! After nearly two years here-- what a relief!
I’ve been coming to Browns for many years and Paris has been doing my hair since she joined the salon. She cuts my hair really well and does the colour beautifully and explains exactly what she is going to do and why. So absolutely no complaints there.
Tegan is an excellent stylist. She always listens to what you would like and advises on what would work for me. She has a relaxed manner and is easy to talk to.
Tegan is absolutely fantastic. I always have a great colour and cut with her. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else. She had a trainee with her for the wash off and she is a lovely teacher (I am a teacher so I know what a great one she is) always look forward to coming
I have been going to Browns in Harpenden for about 15 years and can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are always warm and friendly and really listen too what you want.
Returned after several years break, mainly due to Ellie who often did my hair for a blow dry and it just lovely & very talented!
