The Hemel Toni and Guy salon enjoys the services of a first-class staff, who somehow always make their clients feel special, no matter how lacking in glamour they might be! From reception, to the trainee washing the hair, to the wonderful Stylist, Audrey, it was friendly, helpful service, with a great result!

I’ve been going to this salon for about 15 years and they are always professional, very friendly and approachable. All the stylists listen to what you want and follow your wishes whilst giving sensible and realistic advise.

Gorgeous Vanessa never fails to not only make my hair look fabulous, but just makes the whole experience a joy.

My first visit to Hemel normally go to Watford ... no more.. fab cut, fab stylist Syd and fab coffee .... my new home xx

I had a cut and blow dry by Lauren and a colour by Sam. As always Lauren was friendly and the cut is lovely. I haven't had my hair coloured for a while. Sam listened to what I wanted, gave good advice and was really patient with me!

Would highly recommend.

My first time at Toni & Guy and my experience was amazing. I was given expert advice from Richard for my colour. He listened to what I wanted and my colour was gorgeous. Also with Lauren - a fantastic cut. Exactly as I explained. Throughout the whole experience I felt pampered and definitely worth spending that bit more money than I would in another salon. Rikkie has been colouring my hair for years, and always does an amazing job- often in the face of adversity with my curly tangled and chlorine damaged hair!. I look forward to my chats with an old friend, and trust him implicitly with my colour.

Vanessa cuts and styles my hair beautifully. It’s a treat to be styled professionally, and we always have a laugh. Sydney also does an amazing job.

I am always looked after and pampered. Adam always goes the extra mile too and looks after me.

Every time I visit the Hemel Hempstead salon I feel so well looked after and leave feeling incredible. I live in London, but I will always make the effort to return to them again.

From the moment I walk into the salon, every member of the team I encounter is incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful, informative.

Richard is a true master of his craft. Whenever I sit down at an appointment with him I feel so safe and excited for the colour magic he will work on my hair. He listens, he is honest, informative, realistic, knowledgeable, but most of all, he is an incredibly lovely guy who just puts me at ease and makes the whole duration a lovely experience. Today was no different: once again, I had a lovely time and left feeling beautiful and confident.

Mason washed my hair and gave me a head massage that dreams are made of, Amy dried and finished my hair beautifully with soft curls to compliment the blonde highlights Richard created. I would highly recommend The Hemel Hempstead Salon, the whole team are absolutely lovely and amazing at their work. I can’t wait to visit again!

So pleased with my haircut; Lauren did a fantastic job and was nice to chat to as well. Such a nice atmosphere - all the staff very friendly. It was my first time here and I'll definitely be coming back.

Both the guy who washed my hair and the stylist were lovely, welcoming and chatty.
I was happy with the customer service, which is amazing compared to most salons.
The cut was good, would have liked a little bit more layering through the bottom, but admittedly I don't have much hair (very fine)!
I appreciate that my appointment was at short notice, but much more up-front transparency around the level of stylist if and price would have been strongly appreciated. That was the only drawback for me but a big one. Essentially I had the same job done as one that cost me £45 last time and I paid £60. I know next time to ask but felt embarrassed on paying and a disappointed that this wasn't clearer.
