I had a cut and finish last weekend and can honestly say my hair has not only never looked so good, but the style stayed right through to the next wash. So today I went back just for the blow dry, brilliant

I have colour with sarah and cut with chynna and I can't praise them enough, I always leave incredibly happy, I have had sooo many bad experiences in other salons but the moment I saw the girls I knew I was in good hands, thank you girls

I had a lovely experience at THC Hitchin today. I was looked after by very pleasant, tentative and capable staff. I left the salon with a nice feeling and with a stunning haircut. What more could I ask for!

Great salon, cut couldn't be better, am delighted. Love the massage chairs whilst getting hair washed. Salon has nice ambience and layout and first class staff.

Had an appointment yesterday; 23rd August with Jordan at the hair company as my usual stylist Chynna was on holiday. Was very pleased with my hair. Jordan did great job as i know my hair can be a bit if a challenge. As it was my b/day having my hair done was part of my pamper routine for the day before going onto local nail-bar. Is really good to know that i now have 3 really great stylists at the salon who can manage my very curly frizzy hair type & transform it to smoothe plus make me feel beautiful. Thankyou to Chynna, Jordan & Jenny; everyone always very professional.

Jordan listened to my requests and offered her advice based on my hair type resulting in a cut that made my hair look and feel healthier. Loved the massage chairs too! Thank you!

Absolutely love my visits to THC. Excellent service, lovely staff and nice music.

The atmosphere in the whole salon is friendly and relaxed. I wasn't exactly sure what cut I wanted but I was fed up of my long hair. The girl who cut it for me (really wish I could remember her name right now), took the time to ask me what styles I liked and also what my usual hair routine is, she advised me on the type of cut that would suit me and still be manageable, and even showed me pictures of what the end result looks like on other people. She was honest about the upkeep of the style I originally liked, but also didn't push me one way or the other and was open to discuss other options. I'm very happy with the service I received, and the haircut style too. Would definitely recommend this place, and I'll be going back there too.

Felt valued as an "off the street" customer. Did not ask about previous hairstylist ( which can be uncomfortable) just about cut. Pleasant stylist- will probably visit again!

As a Hitchin resident for the past 10 years I have visited a number of hair salons but none come close to The Hair Company. I have been a regular there since it opened and I have never been tempted to stray, the reason being every stylist I've had asks what you'd like and then that is what you are given along with maybe a few helpful hints along the way. This may seem obvious but so many times at other salons I've told the stylist what i'd like only to walk out with the stylist's idea of what that was. Shazia and her team take time to understand your needs. They provide the best welcome and all round service in Hitchin (and their coffee's really nice too!)

After reading the reviews i decided to give the salon a try.. Sarah was a lovely girl and im sure she has a lot of happy customers but after leaving the salon with very damp hair i noticed my roots are not evenly coloured and have a few overlaps....she did explain that in order to achieve a more tonal look i might have to let the dark hair come through but would expect colour to be evenly applied. I feel after paying £86 for half head which is in the same price range of more high end salons in enfield, i would of had a better service. I also fully understand that a professional blow dry is.not included but would of expected to have at least left with dry hair. Can i also point out that at *salon name removed* a toner is included in the price i didnt expect it to.be in excess of £25 . Thanks to sarah for trying to achieve the colour i wanted but i wont be returning unfortunately.

I have had Jordan take care of my hair for a couple of years now. I have never had a hairdresser care more about the health of my hair than her. She will always advise me in depth what's best for me hair and gives me realistic goals for my sometimes unrealistic requests (we all have them!) would definitely recommend. I also love that they use Aveda which doesn't test on animals or contain animal products! Win win!

Great hair cut and style! Loved it, great chat with my hairdresser and the girl who shampood my hair gave a lovely wash! Massage chairs are fab!
Rude and abrupt receptionist! Especially on the phone! Even when I was at the desk paying, she was the same to someone else on the phone. At least I knew it was the norm, and not something about me.

Visited THC today for the first time. I didn't have an appointment but was told I could be seen straight away with senior stylist Jenny.
She was lovely and made me feel really comfortable, recommended products without giving me the hard sell.
Very happy with my hair and will definitely visit again.

Complete restyle and full head colour today with Sarah and Wayne... absolutely love it. Sarah's colour never fails with me. I am the client who is very nervous about new people cutting my hair after a few scissor happy experience elsewhere, however, Wayne listened to exactly what I wanted, offering advice where appropriate and my new bob is gorgeous. I will definitely be rebooking both Sarah and Wayne from now on.

This was the first time I had been to THC and I can't believe I didn't find it sooner. Its atmosphere is calming and everyone is so friendly. Maggie cut my hair beautifully and I've never been so happy with a hair cut before. They really listen to what you want and work well with you to achieve it. Amazing.

I can genuinely say THC in Hitchin is the one place I trust completely with my hair. Lovely stylists, very easy to chat to but also great knowledge for what is best for your personal hair needs and I never feel nervous about the outcome. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

I'm so pleased with my haircut and finish today. I'm trying to grow my hair longer to shoulder length and grow out old lifeless colour. My hair is cut every 8 weeks beautifully and a style is beginning to take shape, thanks to my stylist, Chynna.
