I haven't been to a salon for a good 2 years, so as you can imagine was very nervous! The girls made me feel very welcome..
My appointment was with a lady called Jordan. She was polite, friendly and offered great advice!
I absolutely love my new hair colour, thank you very much Jordan!!

I went for the first time to THC and had a hair cut by Chynna.
There was quite a lot of hair to take off and she did a great job and offered advice on layers. Will definitely be going back.

I usually see Chyna, she is really friendly and chatty. She knows just how I like my hair done and totally trust her. Occasionally I see Sarah, if I am too late to book Chyna, and she is great too. I love the product. I had my hit washed by a new girl today and I must say I could of had my hair washed and head massaged all afternoon, she was awesome.

Jenny cut my hair today & it was in desperate need of a restyle after not having cut for a few months.
As ever, I was so pleased with the whole service. Jenny cut my hair beautifully, it's a treat to go to the hair company:-)

I had my hair cut by Director Wayne and he was just brilliant. The cut I had previously was pretty terrible but somehow he managed to salvage it. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Nicky always manages my bookings and of course most importantly hair is cut and coloured beautifully. Can highly recommend this salon.

I love having my hair cut and coloured here. The staff are, in my experience, calm, friendly and professional using quality products. The massage chair is very relaxing while having ones hair washed. The only downside for anyone not into jazz is the far from relaxing and not so background (especially upstairs) music which, for me, spoils the experience though not enough to prevent me returning!

After deciding last minute to get my hair cut I wandered round various different salons in Hitchin and THC were the only salon who could fit me within 20 minutes. My hairdresser Jordan was very friendly and offered some very helpful advice regarding my hair as I'm not very hair-savvy. Every member of staff whom I encountered was very polite and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be returning as the service and pricing was great! Thank you again ladies!

I had my hair coloured with Sarah and cut with Chynna today and I couldn't be happier. Sarah gave me great advice and took sooo much care into getting it perfect, I was very nervous and she really looked after me, Chynna did a great job with the cut too, all the staff were lovely so if anyone needs to find a salon they can trust, this is the one, thank you all so much xxx

As always another great cut by Maggie. As long as my daughters are happy with my hair cut as well as me I shall continue to have my hair done here. Have no hesitation in recommending The Hairdressing Company.

I have been a client of THC for a while now and I love the salon. It is professionally run, with competitive pricing and gorgeous products. All the staff are very well trained and experienced. I have Chynna to do my hair and she is fabulous.

A first time for me at The Haidressing Company so I was naturally a little nervous. I needn't have worried as Sophie quickly put me at ease by listening to what I wanted. As my bob was in desperate need of a cut (15 weeks since my last one) she made sure we were in agreement of the length I wanted. She also checked that I was happy at each stage of my cut. Sophie took a careful approach with my fringe and gave me ample time to check that I was happy with its length. I was very pleased with the way she finished my hair - blow dry and straighteners and I also liked the products she used.
I felt very comfortable in the salon and felt that it was a personal treatment - a very nice experience. Thank you Sophie for making me feel so welcome - I will be back ????

I had my first visit to the hairdressing company yesterday for highlights and a cut and blow dry. I was very happy with the consultation before the cut/colour, how well I was attended to throughout and I am incredibly happy with the end result. Jenny cut my hair into a new fab style, just what I'd been hoping for!

My first time here and a really great experience. Sophie was fantastic. My colour was a mess beforehand and I left feeling like a supermodel!! Thanks Sophie. Highly recommended. Very professional and really listened to what I wanted and consulted with colleagues to decide best colour to use. Very impressed.

Love having my hair highlighted with the truly professional Sarah, always recommending the right colours to suit and I have never been disappointed.... transforms my hair... for another treat have a cut with Jordan who somehow makes my hair (that I said never grows) look longer with a cut ! Cannot recommend the team enough, from historically always worrying what my hair would look like after a cut and colour I now look forward to my bi-monthly treat!

I have been a client at the salon for a while now. Had a big change today with a cherry red ombré. Love it and loved the service. Sarah really took the time to make it absolutely perfect as she always does. As did Sophie who blow dried it afterwards. I've had lots of compliments when I re posted the instagram Sarah took. I've been coming for a few years and so happy with the results every time. Just a bit shocked by the price increases for the new year....!

First time at the salon, was greeted by an unfriendly shampooist who showed me to my seat. Maggie (the hairdresser) came over for a consultation and was very professional, listented to what I wanted and gave me some good suggestions. I was then taken over to the sink for my hair to be washed. It was the most awful hair wash I've ever experienced. It felt like my hair was being pulled out, it was very painful. I used to work in a salon as a shampooist so know what to expect, and it was awful. I also found the shampooist to be very uncurtious.
I was then taken back to my seat for the haircut by Maggie who was lovely. The haircut was great, just what I asked for.
To sum up, great haircut and hairdresser, terrible support staff.

Nearly fell asleep. Thank you for a pampered hour with coffee included.
