Hi, I went ti Stonehills on the recommendation of friends, as I am new to the area. Wow, what a service.I was welcomed very warmly to the salon, had a great chat with Christina who coloured my hair, brilliantly! I then decided I'd like a trim, that was no problem at all. They asked me would I mind waiting 10 mins, which was no problem.Jamie then did an amazing cut for me! Excellent service, excellent staff, and I will be back. Think I've found my 'usual' hairdressers now! ????

Absolutely stellar experience. Got exactly the cut and colour I wanted, after a thorough discussion beforehand. The highlights and cut took longer than expected and I had to leave early, but they invited me back the next day to check the colour and tidy up the cut again, free of charge. You're in excellent hands here-can't recommend it enough. My hair is transformed!

Excellent cut and style by Michael - he does things with my hair that nobody else seems able to! Very busy salon today but well looked after, as always, and the only hairdressers I've ever actually enjoyed going to.

I went to the Stonehills over the weekend. My problem was I hadn't had a haircut for a while and I found it difficult to explain what I'd imagined and wanted. Despite that the hairdresser was able to give me a very good haircut.
Later, after washing and styling at home I wasn't 100% sure about one little thing. I went back - and got it corrected within minutes to perfection!
I am very happy with my haircut and the service I received and will definitely go back!!!
They managed to squeeze me in a late notice and were very polite and helpful. Great haircut from a very helpful chap that clearly knew his stuff.
I dropped into this salon on the off chance that they might have an appointment. From the moment I walked in to when I left the service was excellent. Both Reception and Stylist were helpful, friendly and professional.I was offered a drink and the Stylist,Jamie, was attentive and enthusiastic.He washed my hair himself and gave me the best cut I've had in ages.The cost of cut and blow dry was £38 which is cheaper than I usually pay.I will definitely go back.

Lovely place to go and get you hair done
I moved away from Welwyn Garden City and haven't been able to find a replacement salon in the same league as Stonehills Hair. The Directors and staff understand how to make a customer feel special, they actually listen to what you want done and discuss the best way forward. I drive from Egham, Surrey to have my hair styled here.
Going to a salon with a sensitive and embarrassing request, like asking for a hairpiece to be coloured and cut to style to cover your bald chemo head, isn't a request you hear every day. Also, not many places would take this on.
I went to Stonehills and was welcomed, given a consultation the same day and asked to return an hour later, where I was given my hairpiece, coloured to the exact colour I wanted and cut to style.
I wasn't made to feel any different to any other customer and was given good advice on colour and style.
G was very helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend his experties to others.
As you can imagine this isn't a very easy situation for a woman to go through, so it's amazing that I can now walk around without feeling self conscious.

Christina did such a good job with my hair. Had so many compliments. Salon has had a makeover aswell and looks very stylish!
Best hairdressers I have ever been too honestly! I normally come out of the hairdressers feeling like my hair wasn't cut exactly how I wanted it but Ted listened to everything I wanted and cut it prrfectly!! I would recommend this salon and Ted also to anybody. Thank you very much!

If you have fine flyaway hair that needs a clean precise cut then Jamie is the person to book at this Salon. He is a perfectionist and has a good eye for detail. I was more than pleased with my hair cut.

Had full head of highlights today, and I'm very happy with the results! Colour has come out fantastic and the condition feels a lot better. Ask for Gee (think I spelt that correctly). My hair is long and with full head, and cut and blow dry cost £165, so it's not the cheapest place to go, but worth it and they make a good cup of tea ;-)
