Based on reviews I went armed with iPad photos and magazine pictures to ensure colour I wanted and cut would be crystal clear. After a bill of £216 I left saying I needed more "warmth" as in the salon I looked very mousy. Next morning I cried.The gold/caramel/honey highlights were non existent and instead a dull salt and pepper ashy mousey helmet sat on my head. My email to this salon on Wednesday has had no response . The staff are charming and attentive but for me the results even had a friend ask if I had "had a go" myself. I shall now buy a supermarket colour to try to lift the dreary colour and use another salon to give me what i had stressed I wanted..DARK ROOTS/RICH WARM SLICES.
I did tell ***** that I had in the past, received similar colours to those she suggested for the roots and these had resulted in a pinky plum colour against the scalp. Of course I now have exactly what I predicted and ***** said "next time" we could go a couple of tones darker and also add some warmth (which is what I paid for at that appointment)
Utterly disappointed and look like I have had wood ash combed through my hair. Fair skinned this makes me look ill and as am now going through as IBD attack, pretty cross about the whole experience. When I wrote the morning after I did expect a response (of some sort). Instead, not a thing. Not what I call professional though others may just accept this from a suburban salon.
