About us

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.

Today I wanted to go for what was a bit of a dramatic change in hair colour for me. I showed Nadine photos and she talked me through what would and wouldn't work in my hair and went over the colour chart with me. Nadine has done my hair several times and I had every faith in her advice. I was not disappointed. The colour is fantastic, the cut is what I asked for and the wave to finish completed the look.

Wow wow wow!!! went in for a colour and cut my very first time at the salon the girls are so friendly. First thought was how beautiful the salon was. Aswell as very clean. Was welcomed immediately and temperate taken which I was very impressed with. No waiting around. Nadine Came and greeted me, she was lovely and very welcoming. Spent time discussing and understanding what I wanted. Absolutely loved my colour and cut. This is my first experience in a salon for a number of years as free getting my hair done at home. Very impressed and next appointment is already booked. Highly recommended. Oh wow....had my hair cut and coloured today,first time in 18 weeks.Despite restrictions like wearing a mask it was still a lovely experience. Absolutely love going to 1302, such a magical salon with great service and fabulous staff you feel like part of the salon family. Hair colour and cut is always 100% , always guided to what’s is best but I prefer to just let them do what they like and I am never ever disappointed. Here’s to 1302 best salon in East Kilbride and they will comeback bigger and better when they return after the Covid-19 has gone. Chin up ladies you/we can do this , gonna miss you all.xx

Another amazing hair transformation at 1302! As usual such a warm, welcoming atmosphere with all staff making sure I was well looked after. Even though the salon has to temporarily close (due to current circumstances) this certainly didn’t dull the sparkle of the team! First time with Kaitlyn who done an outstanding cut and colour on my hair! Absolutely delighted!!

I have been going to Maria at 1302 for a while to have my hair coloured and cut. The salon is definitely the best in East Kilbride and although Maria usually does my hair I would have no problem with any of the girls in salon doing my hair. First class salon and staff .

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.
