OK, so I have waited a week before writing this, just to make sure I wasn't reacting harshly, but I only feel worse than I did last week! I had ***** for colour and I found her attitude very old school in that she proceeded to berate my previous stylist, moan about my scalp, condition, cut and colour (i didnt think i looked that bad tbh and had recently been complemented on my naturally wavy bob). I am mature and know how my hair lightens (natural blonde anyway). She made out as though i was going from dark brunette to ice blonde! 3 sessions suggested. I went with it although i found her abrasive and stand offish, even moaning about colleagues chatting at till! I then went to ***** for a cut, who in fairness was much friendlier, although she talked soooo much about herself i felt like using earplugs to stop the noise! However, she didn't listen to my request to leave sides one length and take back shorter with layers (i asked for an edgier look). I took a photo and kept referring to it. She left my length at back virtually same and layered one side shorter than other at the front!!!! When she showed me the length i said I'd like it shorter and that was when Amanda came to chip in and pressured me to leave it as would lift when curled. I am not stupid, ive had my hair all my life!!! To top it all off it cost more than i was quoted £212!!! Don't get me wrong I'd have been happy paying that if I'd have had the style i requested. Many of the reviews I now believe are false as they offer a discount on next appointment if you write one! Don't waste your money if you have ideas which are individual!
