Adele has been doing my hair for years. She always listens and does exactly what I want. She will tweak the cut so it is exactly as I like it. As she says, I can cut a bit more off but I can’t stick it back on.
This is why I dislike going to the hairdressers. You explain what you want doing. You show pictures. The hairdresser absorbs the info quickly and, apparently, dismissively - then does her own thing. It's very upsetting when you're paying for a job that you didn't want - and worse, you have to live with the consequences. When hair is lopped off, it's traumatic. It's the woman who has to face herself every morning and live with an unwanted style imposed on her by a hairstylist who doesn't pay enough attention to really look at a picture and listen to instructions. It will take a while for my hair to grow so that I'm comfortable with it - and it feels like me. I won't be going to this hairdressers again. Lovely girl. Didn't look. Didn't listen.
