TONI&GUY YORK opened in the town in 1998.

We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice on the latest trends and services.

Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious Wella master colour expert-their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry and Microlinks/ring Tape extensions. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, Wella, Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. As always, great service from all staff at Tony & Guy. Only problem was the cold. The salon was quiet and the weather dire and the previous proprietor didn't have heating installed. Hopefully the new team will continue with their improvements and install some heating/air conditioning.

Really pleased with the cut, always trust Holly and I'm never disappointed. Had a 30 minute delay to my appointment and didn't know why until I sat down with Holly. It would have been nice if I could have been told when I arrived. Only a small thing bit makes for better customer service/satisfaction.

Plastic cups

Holly is my stylist and cuts my hair how I like it. The salon is clean and everyone is very friendly. I have been coming to this salon for some time now
My problem is plastic cups. I am offered a drink and requested a glass of water. Twice now I have been given a plastic beaker. I don't like drinking from plastic beakers. I used to get a glass glass but now I get a plastic one and it knocks the shine off an otherwise pleasant experience. Please go back to glass glasses.

Lauren is my colourist; Niki my stylist. All ran to time. Lovely pot/cup of tea. Super friendly and cheerful. Fabulous hair colour treatment and wash/rinse/gloss treatment by Lauren. Really appreciated Lauren washing/rinsing/treating my hair. Very pleased (as always) with my styling/cut by Niki who knows how I prefer to have my fringe and the overall shape I would like to achieve.

I’m always nervous about having my curly hair cut as I’ve had numerous bad hair experiences in the past; but tonight was definitely the exception to this.

From a warm welcome at reception and a massaging reclining chair whilst having my shampoo, to finally a meticulous cut with real attention to detail; I was totally delighted.

Jenny the stylist consulted with me at every stage and instinctively knew just how I liked my hair.

I would definitely recommend Jenny and the salon.

Excellent cut and customer service from my stylist. She listens and totally understands what I need from a haircut taking into consideration my curly hair. I love my new look just the lift o needed at low point in my life. It is true s change is a good as a holiday and I feel I can face the future looking and feeling fab ! Simply Brilliant! Washing experience good and hot drink in generous cup and well made with lovely little biscuit! All round magnificent and looking forward to my next visit. Thank you ever soooo much :)
