Stylist Ruined My Hair

As a regular Toni & Guy customer at another branch, I was eager to get my hair cut at your store. I showed the stylist a photo of what I wanted and what I came out with was the exact opposite. I asked for my hair to cut to a length where it would sit on my collarbone as well as asking for the bottom layers to be thinned in order to control the thickness of my naturally thick hair. I had no issues with the styling of my hair until it was fully dried and the stylist took it upon himself to cut MORE layers into my hair after already having done so to thin it initially. The way the stylist layered my hair was choppy and has left my hair to be in different lengths. I was previously happy with the length of my hair after it had been cut and dried, however once the stylist began to add more layers, this length disappeared and now my hair is well above my shoulders (something which the stylist actually advised against when I mentioned wanting my hair shorter). As for my fringe, I asked for it to be tidied and to be made slightly thicker as having a thin fringe was not my style. What I ended up with is not what I asked for. My fringe has been cut straight across (causing me to resemble a character in the film Dumb and Dumber) and the prior feathering of my fringe has been completely removed. I am appalled with the outcome of my hair and quite frankly devastated. I am embarrassed to be seen outside and have actually avoided leaving my flat for the past 24 hours in fear of being ridiculed by my peers for such a obscene haircut.
On top of all of this, I was refused student discount (because it “wasn’t available”) and therefore forced to pay full price of £41 for a haircut that I could have given myself at home.

I will not be returning to this store and will definitely NOT recommend it to anyone else, something which is disappointing to me due to the fantastic service I have received at other branches of Toni & Guy.
