Went in with my partner today to book an appointment for the following week, who also is a hairdresser and had an old receptionist have the audacity to tell her that if she is a hair dresser then she would not have a dry cut when that is what we asked for. Why pay to have her hair washed unprofessionally when she can do that before she comes to the salon. I do not appreciate having anyone be rude towards my partner, especially when I am present after we specifically asked that would it be possible to have someone older who is a hair stylist rather than one of the young employees do her hair so that we knew that the one doing it would do a professional job after several past bad experiences. The old boy had the cheek to give me what for by stating that it does not matter on the age as all the "hair dressers here know how to cut" when not all stylists, especially new ones know the correct way to cut. And when a person does not want to have their hair washed to pay more then the hair dresser needs to wet that individuals hair any ways to be able to cut it. Only if you have had like 20 years experience are you experienced enough to do a dry hair cut. I had previously come to you for years when I was younger but we will stay away thanks to you upsetting my partner. You might want to re-think who represents you at the reception!
