As I am recovering from major surgery and still in considerable discomfort, I had considered cancelling the appointment, but decided I needed to try and make myself feel better and more me.

Chloe worked with the fact I struggle to sit, going on tiptoes at some points, for the wash they provided me with a soft cushion and foot rest to ease the discomfort.

I cannot thank them all enough or express the praise for the service and care given as words are not enough.

I know I can face Friday now at least looking good.

I was very anxious going into my first hair appointment for 10 months, but I needn’t have worried. This was my first visit to T&G and it looks like I’ve found the right salon! I’m not very assertive during these appointments, but Olivia quickly established what I wanted and explain to me what length would actually be correct for my hairline. Great cut and a great, gentle blowdry too. I’ll definitely be back.

Jim and his team provide a welcoming and first class customer experience. The salon is spotless and has been reconfigured in line with Covid but done do in a tasteful way that makes you feel safe and comfortable but in an environment that gives a bespoke experience making you feel special - akin to a spa. Jim and team clearly take great pride in their salon and value their customers.

1st hair cut after lockdown

On the whole very good.
Unfortunately I came home with a very wet sweater, all down my back, after the shampooing.
Usually my chair is raised so this doesn’t happen.

When dressing my hair the chair was quite a distance from the mirror so I couldn’t put my feet on the bar underneath so my legs were swinging the whole time.
Not comfortable
I’m 4ft 10inchs so used to things being a little awkward .
Minor details but they make a difference to the experience.
They would not stop me coming back but may help another client who is short.
