Booked a treatment through Groupon and was asked for voucher number when we called to make an appointment. We were offered a day that didn't suit us then owner refused to offer an alternative. We then discovered the voucher had been redeemed even though we hadn't had the treatment. The business owner refused to refund the money and when we complained to Groupon she claimed we were a no show. Money is obviously more important to her than good reviews and recommendations. Avoid like the plague
I booked myself and a friend for a pedicure treatment the day before leaving the country. The treatment itself was nice and enjoyable, and on completion and two inspections I was told my nails were dry and I was ready to put my shoes back on. Later at home I saw the nail varnish had rubbed off and looked worse than before. After speaking to the Director, I was told it was my fault for wearing shoes (I have never had a problem with this in previous pedicures, nor was I advised that this could be a problem, and I was told my nails were dry).
The Director was incredibly rude, refused to offer a refund and said that the only thing they could offer was for me to come back and re-do the treatment - which I was unable to do due to limited time before flying out of the country the following day. The Director put the phone down on me telling me it was my fault. This is the most expensive pedicure I have ever had, and the worst, but above everything the level of customer service shown is utterly disgusting. I would avoid this ‘spa’ like the plague. Awful. It’s only now after reading the reviews that I know how bad a reputation they have - and after this experience I can wholly understand why.
