I visited the salon for the first time with my daughter. We both had a cut and blow dry. We arrived just before our appointment time and were told to wait, which we did, while two members of staff sat behind us chatting, for 20 minutes, with no apology. We were then ushered to our chairs and a shy young lady took me to wash my hair first and then sort of signalled to me that she'd finished and I was to return to my chair, as if she was too embarrassed to speak. I felt terrible for her - she clearly hadn't been given the training needed in a customer-facing industry. She then did the same for my daughter. Whilst our stylist was very nice and professional and managed to hold court, and we were very pleased with the result, we weren't once offered a drink or a magazine - and we were there for an hour and a half. A couple of other 'regulars' seemed to come and go while we were there as they were seen straight away. We were made to feel as if we weren't really wanted as we hadn't visited before when surely, non-regular customers should be welcomed and perhaps even paid more attention in a bid to get them to return! The whole experience, which we paid £72.00 for, was all just a bit weird. I wouldn't rate the cleanliness of the place either- there were other clients' hairs all over the tables in front of us when we arrived and the hairbrushes used on us looked like they were never cleaned out. If I could rate service and atmosphere no stars, then I would.
Most unprofessional salon ove ever been to. Ruined my hair. Burnt it all.
